Why is there a delay with opening inventory?

I realize there is always a delay, even in survival, but it appears that there is more of a delay when connected to the server.

I don't know what about bedrock is server-sided and what isn't, but it doesn't make sense unless its part of the anticheat

It's not my machine btw. I'm running with a 10th gen i7 and RTX 2060.

I'll try running Minecraft on my processor's integrated graphics and see if that makes a difference. I'm aware of the weird optimization bugs that occur on recent versions when running on an RTX card.

If anyone has a solution to this problem please lmk
