I’d like to kindly suggest reviewing the size proportions between Smilodon populator and Panthera atrox in Prehistoric Kingdom. At the moment, Smilodon appears much larger than Panthera atrox, but fossil evidence shows their body sizes were actually very similar. To my knowledge, no study has ever demonstrated that Smilodon populator was significantly bigger than Panthera atrox. It would be great if this could be adjusted — either by slightly reducing Smilodon’s size or enlarging Panthera atrox — to better reflect paleontological accuracy.
#Adjusting Smilodon vs Panthera atrox Size Proportions

Depends which one is out of scale
Also I don’t mind the current sizes, but the American lion should have a model difference from the cave lion other than the neck fur
oh gods this again
Then I am not the only one 😂
Indeed, as the guy pointed out, there’s a huge difference between the lion set to maximum size and the Smilodon set to maximum size. Okay, it might have been heavier, but not taller or longer. Yet the size difference is so obvious that the Smilodon looks more like a short-snouted bear, don’t you think?
why again?
There are proportional differences between them irl yeah
Atrox iirc has proportionally longer legs
