#Harbors, airports, and more.

IRL zoos and theme parks don't even have their own personal airports and harbors, either. Not to mention all the maps were deliberately designed to be landlocked, and islands were confirmed to not happen in the foreseeable future.
A reference to jpog. With a similar idea proposed for the game. Not saying that there is at the moment of course. Wishful thinking.
You could make the argument that since your the only company (Prehistoric Kingdom) in the world, you have the right to have more than one zoo and thus you can move from map to map as one wishes once they unlock the option through progression. Just an idea
This ain't JWE.
You also don't need to have anything special for doing that
I know. But the idea has its own charm.
A simple "trading menu" would be just as effective and infinitely more simple
^And more realistic.
Then that can work.
Maybe instead of an airport you need a dedicated helicopter landingplattform building to access the global animal market... but I guess thats what the breeding nurses buildings are already there for.
alot of animals dont even use helicopter for transit unless its for terrain that normal vehicles cant access or emergencies
but anws, you can build your helipad with modulars
I guess what even OP means is not the visual representation of that buildings but the game mechanics behind it. Playing a campaign would be interesting if you could choose some starter dinos for the next region if you succesfully build these expensive buildings in the current scenario. Or have access to auctions or blackmarkets to start selling your own breeds. The decision to auction animals from a blackmarket (and cant be sure what you get) or breed it more expensively yourself to aim for a longrun, are all features that increases the replayability. Its a nice sandbox right now, but I guess it can beat jpe3 when more game mechanics are there for the release.

Auction and black market is IMO a really bad moral practice for what is essentially a zoo game, since it dabbles in animal trafficking which is already a major problem in the real world.
-
In-game trading for dinosaurs which are escapees or rescued from traffickers may be a thing in the future

The game does not need to compete with JWE3 by copying their mechanics. It is a sissyphusian task to compete with a giant licensed franchise. In fact, I'd say not copying directly but inspiration helped make PK more unique in the zoo game genre.
- that sounds better of course
- i never played a jwe game so the ideas just comes from what you expect to be available in a zoo sim. What they are making from that giant license is what you expect by any movie based game to be just a shallow cashgrab. Still to stand out against that is to at least have game mechanics IMO even when they are named differently or used to improve on top of them.
Thank you. Really I just think moving Dino’s from one map to the next would be cool. Like your first park is a breeding center and then the others you can do what with. Safari, zoo, site b (make an ecosystem/wildlife reserve), and whatever else you can think of. We have many maps to choose from but you can only use one in one save. Perhaps in the future we can have more than one?
For the record, being stuck with one map per save is literally the norm for management sims in general. And like Chrome said, you don't need to compete with another title by copying its mechanics. It's better to let a game do its own thing because that allows it to stand on its own two feet.
