#Unable to select an animal and move it

With update 11, I can no longer select an animal and move it by simply clicking on it. I have to go through the animal tab in the menu, which makes the process more inconvenient. Will this be addressed?

you cannot select an animal at all??

#

that seems very wrong

#

can you post the player log file?

Player Logs are useful tools that can help us devs debug the game and find issues in the game code. They can be found in %username%/AppData/LocalLow/Blue Meridian/Prehistoric Kingdom

@proper elbow Okay, I'll try to do that. How can I access that if I am using a virtual desktop to play?

You can find your save files at %username%\Saved Games\Prehistoric Kingdom\Saves

oh that might prove difficult 🤔

#

hmm

#

see if you have saves in that path

on the computer that I'm playing on? If so, I'll look for it.

I apologize, I can't find it on the computer I'm on. Will I have to open the remote desktop somewhere and try to find where the data is stored?

#

I'm using GeForce now as the remote desktop platform

Okay, I'll try to figure it out.

#

I think I resolved the issue, somehow. I uninstalled the steam download in GeForce and then reinstalled it. I reloaded a saved game and I can selected animals again.

#

Nevermind. The issue appeared again.

GG @brave veldt, you just advanced to level 2 !

brave veldt

@proper elbow I downloaded the game onto my desktop via steam.= and started a save game. What would you need from me to look at the code?

@crisp echo I looked through and it didn't have the saves of the park that had this issue. They weren't ported over on cloud saves through steam. Is there anything else I can do?

brave veldt
#

@crisp echo I've looked through as many options as I can and I can't access the game logs and saves that produced this issue, as they are stored on the local desktop with GeForce and not ported over via the cloud.

I don't know of any way to get that data, I'm sorry
