#I'd love to be able to set/reset grid in a Group

Everytime we start building, parts in a group are following a local grid.

But when you merge two groups, or do some other actions, the grid is messed up.

In some CAD software there is possibility to set new zero point by selecting 4 points (zero, x direction, y direction, z direction).
Having that would help a lot in my opinion.

Alternatively, the possibility to set Group grid coordinates by selecting a part, and using its grid. That would be really helpful with builds that uses a lot of angles.

This is technically already possible but there's a little build trick behind it: when merging groups, it takes on the grid from the last selected group. So when you want to realign you can exit your current group, select a new piece (floor or wall recommended) and use it's gridlines to align it with the previous group, then you merge both groups.

Another build trick would be to always build on world grid first, then copy those pieces/groups or save them as prefabs to place around your park. I do this with intricate buildings with walls, floors, roofs, interiors each in separate groups

that being said, due to the nature of this modular system in which every piece can be toggled GRID on or off, having asymmetric pieces rotated causes funny things to your builds
