Hello everyone! I downloaded this Weakaura: https://wago.io/FafJ2rjtG, but I can't get the announcer to work.
This is the trigger (photo 1 and 2)
and this is the announcement tab (I tried setting it up myself photo 3)
It seems like for whatever reason whichever weakaura I try out all of the Chat message settings in actions are blank.
can a kind soul help me please.
This is TBC btw.

main thing i notice is the announcer aura is set to only load inside instances, are you testing outside of instance?

Testing outside instance but in a raid group

that would mean the aura is inactive when you're testing, go to load settings and turn this off (or tick "No Instance")

Just did it in an intance, and it still doesn't work

could you link the modified aura you're using? right click it in WA menu -> export -> paste string here

Make sure to not have format options selected for the source unit
Or the name. As the format options there are mainly color and colors are not allowed.

that one doesn't have anything in actions tab, if that's the one you were testing with then need to enable chat message. and yeah no need to do %text%, just %text is enough

So I just enable Chat message --> Message Type Raid --> Message: %sourceUnit cast Misdirection on %destinationName ?

yes, though %sourceName would be better. also just disable "Instance Size Type" in load tab for good measure.
