track the buff.
can you elaborate a little more? @main fog
you get a buff. weakauras can display buffs. its the default option when you make a new aura.
since the animation isnt actaully in the version of the game i dont think it would be able to.
so you want the texture is has in retail?
im looking for the active animation that surroudns a shaman when lava surge procs. then put it into SOD for power surge
Do you get a buff when lava surge procs (or whatever it is your attempting to track)?
- If yes, you can track that buff and display an animation in the display section and conditions.
- if no, you do not get a buff and instead it just resets the CD you could look at the combat log to see if there's something there or just track and animate the CD of the core ability.
i do get a buff from a proc, not sure how to get the desired animation
looking for this animation
that's called a spell activation overlay
It's a texture, not an animation (animations move). The left part of this texture exists in the retail version of weakauras so might in the SoD version. I'm not sure if there's a better way of doing this but I'd make two weakauras with an identical trigger, one uses the Mirror option in the Display tab. Then mess with the positions, width and height until it looks like the Blizzard one.
Zes
your weakauras doesn't have that?
This is not simple but it should be possible to import this texture from retail so you can use it in SoD.
Download the retail texture file from here https://wago.tools/files?search=imp_empowerment.
The following is copied from #pins
Textures must have a height and width that are, in pixels, a power of 2 (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048)
• Height and width do not need to match. Rectangles are fine.
• Textures must be a .tga or.blp file
• Any custom files need to be saved within WoW's folder structure.
○ if saved to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft_retail_\Interface\customImages\myImage.tga then the path you use in WA would be Interface\customImages\myImage.tga
• If in game then a full game restart (back to the launcher) must be done before the file can be accessed.
Just install the addon and get all the SAOs for free
