It's not possible to know the target of a spell. You can make a guess at who the spell is targeting by looking at the current target of the unit but that doesn't always match with the spell's target. This is especially the case in pvp situations with mouseover and focus targeting.

So you have to check the bosses target when you get the cast start event

so its not possible to make a WA that warns me when a mob targets and cast an spell on me?

it's ONLY possible to make a WA that warns you IF a mob is targetting you as it casts.

AND that cast happens to be also aimed at you.

but there is no way to know for sure that it will be aimed at you. You just have to do some testing for the specific spell you want to track and see if the enemy changes their target to the intended unit when they cast

some spell casts do this. others don't
