my approach for a basic thing would be a custom trigger, status, every frame
and i believe the time delta is passed to those functions, so check IsPlayerMoving and add the time to a counter if so, and once reaching a threshold, play the alternating squish sounds
is there an already-made example of this?
I've been trying to use IsPlayerMoving but I can't seem to figure out how to call a sound from inside the code block - I've also tried using PLAYER_STARTED_MOVING and PLAYER_STOPPED_MOVING but can only muster 1 sound (which refuses to loop) most likely because it's not active for more than the time it takes to trigger

I just can't make the sound loop while the trigger is active - or at least I'm not sure what active means. I was thinking that Custom Trigger means it's on, and Custom Untrigger means it's off

no code in actions.
the only code is returning true on move start in the trigger and true in the untrigger on stoppped moving
then you use the normal regular non code options in the actions tab to loop a sound.

you shouldn't put your sound inside of the weakauras folder

how are you trying to add the sound to you aura?
it won't appear in the drop down menu
I made my folder in the classic folder
called it CustomSound

it reads from above interface/addons
so all you need then once the folder is in the right place is: CustomSound\example.ogg
also to note: I used audacity to cut and modify the sound I wanted - in my case it was squidward squish - I used the sound of both squish types in one audio. I also tweaked the speed and pitch of the sound to go better with my walk type - undead kind of walks in pitter patters so I sped it up, this can all be done in Audacity.
2nd also: If the sound doesnt stop after you're done walking just go into Actions > On Hide > Stop Sound
3rd also: If you added the sound file while the game was open, you'll have to restart the game for it to catch.
I'll be working on having the sound stop when mounted, swimming and jumping soon - I'll post it in here as well in case others want it too
If you added the sound into the weakauras folder and restart the game it may no longer be in the folder
if you update weakauras it won't be in the folder
so that's why they have you make it outside
don't put your custom sounds in the weakauras folder
