#Mage Monitor LUA errors
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
either s.expirationTime or spells.duration is nil on line 40 of Trinket trigger1 i suggest getting devtools and checking out what the table looks like when you're getting the error
!vdt
https://github.com/brittyazel/DevTool
Dump tables there with DevTool:AddData(table, "title")
I downloaded devtool and even there is "how to use" on github i have no idea what im looking at
try commenting on the wago page and telling the creator about the error
that wouldnt cause "attempt to index a nil value"
that happens when the thing youre indexing is nil
in this case, i have no clue what the bug is as even deleting the entire trigger still has the error happening, with the same line (40)
I tired to reach creator of WA but he accepts only messages from friends + he left this discord sometime in past.
looks like there's also an error in the custom position function
leave a comment on wago
Did.
Anyone else had any chance to look into this?
no response yet, he havent posted anything for long time (years) so i guess he is not active anymore
is there a way to get someone to fix it? @viral cove
Some time ago I think I more or less fixed that aura for someone but I don't think I fully finished it. Could take a look when home
would be appreciated!
Sadly not the fix, similar but nowhere close funcionality to original WA. Apprecited tho!
Since im not sure will anyone look into existing WA, im trying to figure out temp solution - is it possible to track casts from specific raid memebers? (eg to track casts and instant casts from mages in raid)
by class would be easy since i wouldnt need to update it each raid (if team changes), but if doable only by name i can live with that as well
so whole functionality would be:
- display casts from mages in raid
- display instant casts from mages in raid
- update the castbar (end) if they interrupt the cast
