#Spark when spell available

How do I make a spell icon spark when it becomes available? I tried doing it with a model and a condition that triggers it when spell becomes ready but the model animation is cut very short and doesn't last its intended duration.

Is there another way?

Sounds like you're talking about the "bling" effect (that's actually what it's called in the Blizzard UI). It's specifically disabled by WA in the cooldowns it uses.
A model is a reasonable way to put something similar, or a glow.

Instead it just quickly appears and disappears

#

The condition was when spell becomes ready

Yeah, make it last a bit longer to match the model

How do I make a condition last longer?

#

Didn’t know it was possible

#

Or the model

You make the trigger last longer.
You should be using the Spell CD Ready Event trigger. Change its duration as needed.

Oh I might have been using the wrong trigger then, will have a look later when I’m at the pc

#

Also curiosity of mine, why does WA disable that bling effect?

#

And is there a known model to replicate the current bling one? The model I’m using looks like an older bling effect

WA hides the whole CD widget when it's not in use, so even if the bling were still enabled it wouldn't show.

Everything's working fine now, thanks for the help

However it is the old "bling" effect, new one is a bit different

#

Couldnt' find the model for the new one though

  1. Create a New Aura --> Icon
  2. Go to Display --> click on Add Model
  3. Under Model, replace the ID with this one --> 166027
  4. Copy the screenshots below for your Triggers and Conditions
  5. Finally you probably will need to adjust the sizes of the icon and the model (mine are 44x44 for the icon, 150x150 for the model)
