Most of them I try to build physical models of to make sure theyre light enough to be held by the robot which luckily hasnt been an issue so far ^w^

technically both teh grey weapons are specially designed so it does make sense, but the way that the grip is designed is so that it can clip onto the side of the robot and ive never really modified it

Three round clip plus one in the chamber. Obscene range with semi-adjustable sight. To use this as your primary weapon you have to be more than just insane. The weapon is massive, the ammo is heavy, the recoil can wreck hydraulics, and the skill required is more than what most people can manage, but in a one-on-one engagement, a master of this weapon only needs a single shot.

Antistuds for weapon stowing (though whether the barrel clears the ground is another question entirely) with potential optional attachment point on top

Anyway, inspiration was taken from elephant guns

Those things are some of the largest, meanest, most insane rifles ever constructed, and from what I understand, some even used high explosives to fire the round

Rounds which were some of the largest shells ever dared to be used in a hand-held weapon

Ultimately, the only limiting factor on this is whether it's way too big like the other one. I tried to cut down the mass in the body section as much as possible, but at the end of the day that barrel is probably at least twice as heavy as the other one

I should tell you tho, the AA rifle that was too big isn’t considered a primary weapon, meaning you don’t wear it on your back, it’s something that you carry around with you and then destroy it when you’re done using it

Since now the natural firing angle is a high angle, considering this is meant primarily to be for long-range tankbusting, and short-range annihilation does not require iron sights

Actually, if I had to guess, there would probably be markings on the bucket handle part, so you put the enemy in the trough of the front clip then line it up with the markings on the closer sight to approximate distance and get the perfect angle on your shot

Also, I'm sure there's some operators out there who remove the iron sights in favour of a scope and/or digital rangefinder, but I get the feeling that this is the kind of weapon that attracts purists

I bet you could fit just about anything in there

Just need to make sure it can handle the force of being fired, which is no mean feat

Could be a good support gun for that purpose too, maybe you fire an EMP into the center of a compound, or several around the perimeter of a large one, then ditch the weapon to stealth your way in and take out the target

For the anti material rifle I made, it’s sorta lore is that the gun has small vents that open up all around the weapon and a coolant system that takes affect after each shot

And even then the gun is slowly destroying itself after each shot so that’s why it’s rarely used

This thing has no vents, no advanced systems. It's very much just a big dumb brick, more closely resembling a titanium musket than anything cooked up by modern engineering

'Course, a titanium musket with TNT in the cartridge instead of gunpowder, and capable of sending half a ton of lead hurtling through the air more than a mile at speeds that would make a fighter jet blush

Had to add an extra plate so it’d be held properly

Sadly the way the hands are designed bullpup rifles/any rifles with stocks designed in this way where they are a little too close to to grip aren’t able to be held super well

But with the right angle it looks fine
