It didn't perform that well tho
Bakugan did perform well, well enough for the following reboot generations to also be japanese productions
so the formula has been proven to succeed
even china tried later on
with games
Hmmm.... why bothering with this when we will all have different voice actors depending on our region
thats why i say bother about the japanese voice actors first and foremost
it will be what people see first usually
and also it helps for exo-force to go into srw
Bakugan, yes, but Tenkai Knights? Not really. It died so fast that in France we just got the DS game and the anime XD
which increases traction
yeah, but what im saying that the formula of japanese produced anime but toys produced elsewhere does work, Bakugan did it first, Tenkai Knights didnt work, but chinese games looked at Bakugan and went with that with their games
like a lot of anime-styled f2p gacha games these days are not japanese, but from china
even Arcaea is a game from UK that only has japanese voice acting from what i remember
also i think i found another use for the ninjago ratchet joint that i hate using in exo-force so much
?
for torso pivots in transformations, combine them with the technic pinhole one
Soo.... an equivalent of the waist articulation ?
Not rlly
Ill build smth using that as an idea and ull see
sum sketch
It would be hard for me to work in because I am trying to have all of my exo force pilots heavily use the orange theme on the pilots. Kieken would probably be white and gold, despite I feel like I need somthing more powerful than gold..
This is also my late first time to this thread, but Exo force is definitely my other favorite theme. My favorites don't have a placing and are multiple most favorite themes.
I was figuring out how to use these parts to make an Exo force character, but I also thought the Torso would be better on Keikens daughter.
The head maybe should be on a custom character that looks way more implied to be a robot I am thinking.
Also this is kinda the exo force side of the Exo Miners alternate universe I've been making, it definitely has the exo force characters.
Also the armored Uplink mech for Ryu is mad neglected, I may still have the missles but this is one of my oldest mech mocs I had probably since 2014. My uplink really deserves a double barrel shotgun!
I could be the first to do this, I made a Devastator to be a Hero and gave it white eyes.
I kinda want to show the chair in my Uplink I was remembering the folding door is crazy articulated.
I think the main change I made to Uplink years ago was only making it have slightly taller ball joint legs so it can have knees..
Hmmmm.....
? Are you following the anime?
Seems like these are slightly oversized medium mech, but at 130€ for 1700 parts, it could be interesting....
Still they do look good, and i think it would take only a few mods to put them in exo force
I'm not fond of the head being exposed in the pilot seat, and would cover it up with at least a window.
Same
It could be because more rocks fall on my mechs in mines.
I haven't made one dedicated to sea traversing yet though.
I like to do that with my titan mechs anyway so it will be fixed
I mean, the simple fact of having a mech suit with an exposed pilot doesnt make sense if it s to fight
Like, in an industrial context, why not, but in a war context? Meh
All it would take to incapacitate your mech is a good sniper
Kinda makes me think of the KV128 Stormsurge from 40k
if they gonna be part of exo-force u have to rebuild from ground up
i think this is the next set ill buy just purely for parts
Hmmm.... i don t think you would need to rebuild everything to make them fit
if its me i would definitely rebuild from the ground up using the parts
especially the legs
i would also scale down the size and maybe use the extra parts for like equipment
still not a fan of how much unnecesary bulk there is
You are talking about extra things like the stand for flying poses huh?
I wanted to bring up I never seen an Exo force Moc of Meca One acutally having a golden vehicle. My idea was black fire would be on the weapons and decorate the armor. This should look somthing like bionicle mocs that are black and gold that look dramatic.
Like seriously Meca one never got a mostly golden mech or vehicle, and I can't see a picture of Meca one upgraded on google either.
I've seen improved articulation on the minifigure but his custom vehicles are still lime green and black.
For the dimple reason that meca one is NOT a machine pilot but a strategic commander. When there is imposing machine to pilot, he sends a "clone" of himself to pilot it, but it is closer to having a general sent on the battlefield.
From what i remember, the machines his clones are seen piloting is the bridge walker, the striking venom and the mobile devastator ( the one with 4 giant lime wheels )
The mecha he pilots in the set of the sentai fortress, i m not sure he ever piloted it story wise, i m prety sure it was piloted by a red devastator
I'm not making a normal Meca One if it is going to be heavily altered with supernaterual changes. Even if it is still a decoy, The Meca One I'd be building would be in the contect of having its devastators and Iron drones missing with a different story than what happens in the plain Exo Force story.
I still think it is not a bad idea to have a Meca One getting a job done themselves.
That s why he send his own clones periodically
Eewww, no knees.... i know it s supposed to fit the robot theme roller coaster park but still XD
Naw, I'm still gonna build a meca one with shadow powers that is fun to me.
Btw, look at what pinterest sent to me!
( too bad they sent me the picture and not the parts XD )
So many ball joints
Yeah my builds usually get too heavy for ball joints and I need Ratchet joints, or pan joints.
I'ma build that rollcage seat for a bike though. (The grey parts holding the pilot)
I honestly dont rlly like ball joints but they can be useful at times
For ankle articulation they are awesome
do yall think thunder fury is like so hard to aim onto by the humans?
It s not hard to aim it s hard to touch an unarmored part or to have a weapon strong enough to pierce its shielding ( the mech it came from is supposed to resist in case of a cave in )
Bro that sucks. Glad they're readily available here
dosent like thunder fury like mess with the fcs due to its angular shape?
because thunder fury literally looks like its built for stealth as well
stealth hunter is even more smoother compared to thunder fury
which stealth hunter probably uses ECM jammers
Oh heck no it s not stealthy
it is in terms of shape
It s just the angles style of the time
Yeah, hmm....for that it would have beed a lot more pieces that didn't existed back then
or hard to detect on radar
i mean the wedge pieces that come on the robot side do look like stealth parts
It got a melee weapon and a giant bazooka to ping all the radars in the world XD but the main problem is that humans doesnt rely on radar against ground invasion. They just survey by eyes all the bridges
Because literally, they just have long bridges that seperate both territories
( yeah it never made proper sense )
Anyway... best mech will always be the prawn suit... wait... wrong universe XD
( yeah with subnautica 2 that just came out, i will have that universe in my head )
I remember seeing neat robot builds to a different sci fi underwater horror game, but I forget the name of it, I just know the name references a mythology with a black liquid.
I also remember that horror game alot because Markiplier kept calling a robot bubble butt.
The robot lego mocs did weird things like use white antenna pieces as arms.
I had to look up the game name, and what I am trying to say is Soma 2015 would make for artistic lego mocs too along with subnautica.
Should there be airships on human side? Like aircraft carrier airships
Nah, the closest we have to an heavy aerial unit are on the robot side the gunship (7704 if i remember well ) and on the human side the aero booster, they are both very far from being to a carrier size
The set you requested is:
LEGO 7704 Sonic Phantom
is part of the [Exo-Force](https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Exo-Force) series and was released in [2006](https://brickset.com/sets/year-2006).
I guess the last wave got another heavy flying unit for the robot side, but that s pretty much all
Im thinking more of stuff this size
Meant to have built in catapults for battle machines
Or smth like this or the Banshee from Yukikaze
Or the heli from Avatar
Yes i know. But as i told you, it wouldn't be in phase with the exo force universe
As i said the biggest flying units are on the robot side, and even thise aren't that big.
So getting a flying air carrier would feel out of place, even with the tech of the golden city
( golden city which is supposed to be a relic of the peak of technology reached by human had nothing that big that could fly )
Hear me out
Golden City is such vehicle
Hidden underneath the peak of the mountain
Nah, the Sky Guardian is the biggest thing made to fly in the golden city era.
Technically speaking the sonic phantom is made out of the biggest human made vehicle, but it isn't that big. It could prob support a single battle machine.
Tbh it would fit since its a staple of the real robot genre
Like giant fuckoff moving bases
Of the genre, yes. But not of ExoForce specifically
Yeah i still dont get how it would be out of place in exo-force
It would be as if you were pulling a Gundam inside a WW1
I think most people would just welcome it
Because it s far too advanced
Implying Battle Machines arent too advanced
When we actually have them in real life
Some even took flight in ww2 before
They are advanced, but not anywhere near the level needed to fly a giant one
Even tho they have issues
Search up the endsieg and Lockheed 2101
Exoforce is basically placed at the stone age of mechas
My bad, Lockheed CL1201
- it s the 1201
- you do realise that it was a concept, right? It was never built because it was just an unrealistic idea, even by todays standards
Northrop yb-49 also flew before
The state of the tech in Exo force is as such :
Computers : very advanced ( Sentient AI)
Power source : very advanced ( capable of powering a battle machine for about 15 minutes safely )
Fly technology : medium progress. While jet engines were discovered, the propellers are still the most used
Flying wings are like the worst design to fly anything else externally, the slightest change in aerodynamic can make it crash :/
While i can accept that not everything makes sense inside a story, once the main settings are placed, i like that they are kept around.
In this way, i don t like that the golden city is supposedly more advanced than what the humans were using during the first arc. The only way that it made sense for me was that the humans lost the processing factory to builds these advanced machines, but somehow in the chaos of the Separation lost the intel that they had these battle machines stored there
Tbh golden city always seem more like an ancient advanced human settlement that has been abandoned long before the human vs robots conflict
Like remember theres some creature lurking in some of the golden city ruins?
Always felt like that was the cause of golden city being abandoned
Yeah, but human passing up on the opportunity to get the tech from there? No way, they would have sent army to get it
They would
But thing is many generations have passed and its forgotten through time
But fragments of it is still found throughout the mountain
Ah, I see now why you are against the idea of designing a cursed Meca One of drakness. Yeah instead of just explaining the dilamemma of if it would be cannon or not, I'd like to see jxlbloodrouge build a moving base anyway.
Why spelling his name like that? XD
I would need like a hugeass space tho if im building it minifigure scale
I made large mechs that are bases twice, but I made them both with brick pieces I had plenty of, rather than making them with more technic or parts that are maybe better looking than brick walls.
So it dose depend on the parts you have and the kind of large base you wanted to have.
Shoulder Joint Mechanics
If you’ve always wanted to go bigger with your Mechs but feel limited with conventional joints, or just want further insights into how Technic can benefit your building, then this video series is for you.
I’ll show you the main principles of building big Mechs with LEGO bricks, so pull out your Technic and join me ...
I think I would rather make a mech with these joints as a monile base but I don't own enough of these parts to attempt building with these techniques myself.
Look at spirit of motherwill
And arsenal bird

Many non-Japanese creatives around the world want to make 'anime,' but struggle with the insular and Japanese-only-speaking ecosystem. In this video, I break down the various ways that anime can be co-produced. But beware! There are lots of semantics, specifics, guidelines, and pitfalls to avoid.
