However that is easier to do on planes with a double tail, like the F18, F14, or the Su27 etc

Since then you can use hinges to angle the tail as wanted, however with a plane with a single tail, like the Gripen, the tail will off center and look really goofy

came up with a design for the main wings, made them foldable as well of course

ive opted for using ball joints instead of hinges, jsut bcs ball joints have a little more friction and can therefore hold the weight of the wing properly without collapsing on itself

the engines will be mounted right beside the balljoint with a width of 2 studs

its the US Nave E-2D Advanced Hawkeye

also called an AWACS ( Airborne Warning And Control System)

#

its the naval version of the E-3 sentry, which is a modified version of the boeing 707, but obviously that cant operate from aircraft carriers and this one can. thats why i has the foldable wings, so it uses less space on the deck. besides that they have reinforced landinggears so the catapult wont rip it from the body, and they installed an arrestorhook, so they can land on the deck and grab the arrestorcables with that hook and slow down insanely fast without plummeting into the deep blue darkness below

that disc is basically a big fk radar, aka rotodome, it can visualise 3d models of aircraft in the airspace where operated, friendlies, and enemies

#

these AWACS' give huge amounts of input in military operations, because they can pick up enemies way before the friendly jets can

#

therefore giving them a huge advantage against the enemies, being able to spot them from hundreds of miles away

#

far further then the enemies can spot you

I noticed 2 small mistakes, around step 7, where you add the spine, there has to a gray tile underneath, it'll be placed later on in the instructions, and as you build the cockpit and nose, keep the airbrake attached to the spine, because that's gonna be its only connection, unless you order an extra white 2x2 tile and manage to connect it
