Maybe they think it won’t sell well enough? I can understand why they may think that cuz the general audience is relatively out of touch with lotr at the moment

Adults are a different story, kids nowadays don’t care much about it id assume and the only reason we got those old sets in the first place was cuz Hobbit was releasing, so there was constant buzz about the franchise

Maybe when that animated war of the rohirrim comes out and brings theatre attention back to LOTR, it’ll also bring back general interest in the franchise

Nothing is wrong with many queer, female or black actors, the main issue that we are seeing though is that because many film companies want to be inclusive, they cast actors of those backgrounds over actors that would be far better for the role, I’m fine with anyone acting out a role, unless it really should be a specific ethnicity or gender as long as they are a good and enjoyable actor

I don’t want bad actors getting roles over good actors just because film industries want to be inclusive. Whichever actor is the best should get the role

Barad dur might be the first set I actually get a light kit for. I saw this pic and it blew me away. That being said I'm like 90% sure this is false advertising since they have a yt video of it and haha, it looks pathetic tbh. No visible LEDs in the base. I'm sure someone will make it as close to this pic as possible tho. I'll be waiting
