Tactical Turmoil
Tactical Turmoil is an extraction-shooter mode akin to Tarkov but definitely not as complex (yet).
Stash
-
Stash and inventory management system is akin to Tarkov with the current stash size being 9x35 (315 squares).
-
On-person inventory system includes headgear, chest gear, primary 1, primary 2, secondary slots all of which are changeable. There is an additional knife slot that, however, is not.
-
Additional personal equipment and on-field storage includes chest rigs, belt slots, backpacks, and card reader (presumably to access certain parts of the map(s)). Additionally there is an added safebox with two slots that will allow you to save two items incase of a failed extraction.
-
There is a possibility of increasing stash quantities by upgrading the stash in the hub (more on this below).
Operator Classes
Operators are classed by soldier-class, each equipped with special abilities, enhancements, and unique weapons. There are 4 primary classes of Operators: (1) Assault; (2) Support; (3) Recon; (4) Engineer.
-
Assault is a combat-first class with added movement speed.
-
Support is a mix of medic and combat support, geared to assist other classes (primarily assault) in enhancing their playstyles.
-
Recon class allows the player to seek intel on enemy players and AI.
-
Support class is designed to be a combat-first support class to enhance the player's combat abilities and ability to access locations and parts of the map.
Operators
Current set of Operators is limited to 4 accessible and 2 unlockable characters. Read about them in-depth here: https://www.videogamer.com/guides/delta-force-hawk-ops-operator-list/
Departments
-
Departments are designed to divide the Blacksite (hub) into special categories and battalions. Current set of departments include: (1) Assault Battalion; (2) Medical Bay; (3) Tactical Warfare Unit; (4) Base Support Battalion; (5) T&E Lab.
-
Each battalion comes with its own mission set that can be completed to earn rewards and department upgrades.
-
Departments also include supply stations through which one can purchase weapons, medical items, ammo, limited-time items, mission items, and crates.
Blacksite
-
The blacksite is an explorable hub that the player can use as a launch pad for their extraction missions. In addition to the departments, the blacksite includes crafting stations that the player can use to craft items to be used in battle.
-
Craftable items must be unlocked by upgrading the crafting stations and includes items that cannot be purchased through the departments.
-
Upgrading crafting station requires special items found in the extraction zone.
Auction House
Used to buy and sell weapons, items, consumables found in the extraction zone to other players.
Gunsmith
The gunsmith can be used to view and edit your weapons cosmetics, attachments, and stats for enhanced gunplay.
1.1 The main screen shows a preview of your currently selected weapon stats.
1.2 The weapons are shown in order of ownership.
- Expanded Weapon Details show you exactly how the weapon handles and details of its effectiveness.
2.1 The Damage details shows the damage dealt by your weapon according to its falloff multiplier and how much damage is dealt to each major limb and body part.
2.2 The Control details show the recoil stats of the weapon including the stability and recoil multiplier as well as the recoil pattern for base vs modified weapon systems.
2.3 The handling details show you your stats with the weapon system and modifications equipped including ADS, fire delay, movements speed, reload time, holster time, and weapon switch time.
2.4 Stability details display flinch and sway details of your weapons and the effectiveness and duration of each stat.
2.5 Accuracy details show the weapon fire spread at different movement speeds when firing from the hip.
3.1 The modification screen lets you switch out parts and add attachments to virtually every part of your weapon system (even your rail cover)
3.2 An in-depth calibration system allows you to calibrate all of your attachments, including optic magnification, pupil distance, attachment placement distance, weight and a LOT more.
Havoc Warfare
Gamemode is akin to Battlefield's Breakthrough where attackers seek to capture objectives on the map in order to consume parts of the map, pushing the defenders back until the entire map is captured. The defenders' are to prevent the sectors from being taken and to prevent the attackers from securing the map.

Definitive Review (as someone who hates Battlefield since bf1)
The game feels like a last-gen version of 2042; I bought 2042 just to see if i was tripping - i was not. This game is Battlefield's version of Call of Duty Online except its a different IP. The vehicles have no weight to them. The guns don't deliver punch and oomph, although the TTK is fantastic, The weapon customization is really good and the guns just feel nice. There is a obvious lack of gravity with player movement when compared to 2042. The maps are designed to heavily reward campers. Enough snipers and you can essentially prevent any movement of the enemy team beyond their frontline regardless of whether you're playing attacker or defender. The player lighting is noticeably different from the level maps for ascension (one of two maps available). I could see players from an in-game mile away without scoping. Game is good, feels like i've played this exact game formula multiple times before. Nothing noticably innovative. Review score: 5.6/10 pending content updates.
