If I pull up random top 100 players out of this list I can find games with both sides. #1's last game was with a US deck, #11's last game was with an RU deck, etc etc. They're playing mixed matches so it's hard to establish without going deep into it what preferences are by top players.
This also isn't particularly helpful because it doesn't establish what the balance or meta is. In WRD, US gen was a popular deck in comp 1v1 despite the fact that balance-wise it was worse than several others. Israel and Yugo gen were both extremely unbalanced decks but were not necessarily the most played in comp 1v1 because they left a bad taste in people's mouths. Them not being played did not mean they weren't busted AF.
Functionally by spec use Armored and SOF have highest overall use by all players. Moto and GTB are highest RU. This isn't necessarily a good correlation to balance because it's counting every time a spec is run in an MP game. SOF and Armored are both popular, in particular with new players. Just because SOF/AB is a popular deck combo doesn't mean it's good.
If you compare hard unit stats and spec performance, that gives you a better sense of balance. Just to even do one example:
Two comparable but not identical specs are Moto and Stryker. Their top line IFVs are the K-17 and Stryker respectively
For 15pts more Moto gets a way more effective autocannon, four APS charges, and ripple-firing ATGMs. The cost is one less passenger slot and slightly less resistance against HEAT, which would not save the Stryker anyways in most scenarios
K-17 also comes on way more units that have way more utility, allowing you to functionally bring them in easier with less overall dead weight in the deck
Stryker has three different infantry types, two of which are basically dead weight - Troopers and AA Troopers
Troopers are functionally overpriced as they get Javelin tax for only two Javelins, a pittance of AT4s, and shit anti-infantry performance (as again, anti infantry meta is anything with shock/SF tagged weapons)
And you pay 90pts for them
Which is 10/15pts more than SSO and 25pts more than Motophekota
While having significantly more gimped utility than both
AA Troopers meanwhile have no AT ability, shit anti-infantry, and a decent MANPADS loadout (x6 missiles >> 2000m range), But again, price wise they lose to Igla-N and utility-wise lose to Spetsnaz GRU
Meaning that if you want to bring Stryker your only functionally-useful infantry team is Combat Engineers, who are inexpensive but have two issues
One, they will always perform worse than a dedicated shock/SF team 1v1
Two, they have no real flexibility versus anything heavier than a BTR-82 and not enough launchers to survive being eaten by anything with Russian APS
Which need I remind you, Moto and GTB alone have x4 APS vehicles in droves
this leads to a functional economy imbalance in how far points actually go per-game and if you have two equally-competent players in a meeting engagement, luck aside, the RU player's points will go further
This again is one example I picked out of the blue
So unless you want to do the Broken Arrow equivalent of watching a BlitzWar video and exclaiming "RR jeep opie new meta, all top players use shitdecks so they must be good"
Just asking me to peruse the top 100 players and trying to make informed balance decisions by randomly picking which decks/specs they were playing in their last five games last night is not conducive to what's meta
If Katti's top 100 (I think by list she's top 400-500 but whatever) and she plays SOF/AB for a couple games, would that alone make SOF/AB the new spec meta?

Currently, we are working on the technical feasibility of implementing a replay system within the game’s current architecture. This requires the development of several auxiliary systems to ensure stable and accurate match playback. Unfortunately, this feature will not be available in the near future, but we are putting maximum effort into making it happen. Based on our estimates, it will take at least two months.
It is worth noting that the spectator mode will be released earlier, as it requires less extensive preliminary development. This will be the first step towards a fully functional game-viewing feature.

SOCOM air is extremely poor for price and loadout options
Your infantry is gimped for AT, sure you have RRC and MAAWS but that’s it. Good Inf needs good distribution of anti tank to function
So you just get ran the fuck over by BMP-3
SOCOM specializes in killing infantry but every Russian deck has at least 1 or 2 “kills infantry” infantry and at least 5x the vehicles that “kill infantry deader than you can imagine”
You have no support to make up for this glaring mid specialization
If you want helicopters play AB, Longbow is basically as good as Guardian most of the time, and you get base Apache for a frontline rocket pod
Kiowa was pretty good before Killer Egg nerf and it’s even better now
You just don’t get games like this with SOCOM
IMO RQ-170 is strong enough that one person should have it, but there’s very little skill required to use it
And the person running SOCOM is going to be pretty gimped for defense

Socom air is expensive no deny that. but stealth F-35a is one of few strike planes that get enough payload and often comeback from missile. and plane don't have much upkeep and if it return it often return your a profit (if anyway)
Your infantry is gimped for AT isn't all usa spec got this problem. unless you are russia player play costal and get a bunch of moskaya in clown car. lot of people it fought over 2000 still use socom maaws back up by other units. imo it just US need to out play russia while russia player could just spam clown car and cruise missile you. other spec would not fair better. and socom got hithard with all units get price nerf and russia player get to lean more into cruise missile with no downside than 400 pt upfront.

The struggle bus climb against Russian units was so hard that U.S faction players actually had to form tactics, and the Russian players were used to just better units

I’m excited for the PTE update. -Longer artillery reload times, range and aim time.
- Longer unit respawns to prevent spamming (new: 360 + (0.2 x UNIT COST) vs (current: 120 + (0.7 x UNIT COST)
-short range AA with an extended range of x1.25 - ability to see respawn timer for units
- infantry increased range and damage
My only issues are:
- airplane respawn being tied to resupply of their munitions so a prowler with anti radiation can be sent out every 9 minutes instead of 3
- infantry limits being reduced
