Again thank you Flo for the great work! Not being a dev I would like a detailed explanation on how to use the AE feature. I think the basic stuff is pretty easy to figure out but the more complexe things that guys like you think is easy, is some times a pain for people with my skill set. Just try to think like person with no knowledge of any form of software dev....If you can😉
I think this section has changed a lot in the last year: https://gitlab.com/peginc/swade/-/wikis/settings/system-settings
Secret features please
There is a lot of features you can only find by chance of if you read a changelog (normal people don't do that)
- chase right click
- token hud features
etc
Noted. I'll add a Misc features page. If you can think of anything else please let me know
for example, did you know you can enlarge the image of an item by right clicking it in the item sheet?
I'll test this now
Nice, is there a way to do that for actors as well?
not at the moment. I've already added it to the next update tho
Image Hover module is an alternative
I was wondering if I can share the actors picture with my players with that functionality
you can, or rather should be able to, given you're the owner of the actor, the item or a GM
How? 🙂 Sorry, forget it, I don't want to derail further
there should be a share button at the top, like when you look at the art from the sidebar
Re: bennies .... Is there any documentation on the bump maps option and how it affects bennies?
Bump mapping is a texture mapping technique in computer graphics for simulating bumps and wrinkles on the surface of an object. This is achieved by perturbing the surface normals of the object and using the perturbed normal during lighting calculations. The result is an apparently bumpy surface rather than a smooth surface although the surface o...
In terms of the system wiki for 3d bennies, it should probably be noted that it's optional.
I've used this for bump maps before: https://cpetry.github.io/NormalMap-Online/
But I am still have trouble with custom bennies looking washed out
I "rough-up" the benny image before hand and leave the bump map empty. For the amount of time they're on the screen, I'm personally just happy to see the custom image bounce around he scene.
Do you custom images look washed?
They were at one point. And then they weren't. I haven't tested since the last couple of updates. I'll poke around tonight.
thanks, I thought it was fixed too
