#1.6.0 issues

These yellow warnings , but no warnings in console. Fighter was on level up or down and getting or removing Action Surge and the second screenshot is cleric , but on level down and removal of channel divinity. Everything working as expected, and again no warnings in console.
Minor - Release Notes spelling error. The ever elusive SaddlebaDs π
Damage formulas set as None, Healing, or Healing (Temporary) damage type show up as "undefined" on the new details on the left.
ποΈ for this please π
thanks for the link! π
If a Class/Subclass has items in an Advancement that are in a compendium that is not loaded (e.g. Shared Compendium Module) the Class/Subclass will not open and throws this error in console
The Class/Subclass can be added to an actor, but will throw these errors when
1 trying to render the item in the advancement flow,
2 trying to Complete the advancement flow
Mmm yep that's a good find. ποΈ for that please.
Will be good to solve that before premium content starts shipping classes and subclasses
haha that's how I discovered it, I was messing with the subclasses from the Crucible release issue (#content-announcements message)
can we get the dice scaling interface to just take a number/formula on the left and right of d instead of dropdown? (or at least add d100?) Seems like just making it be a field would be simpler than hard coding as a dropdown.
You can use text for that I think
Are there any class features that use a d100? (other than Wild Magic Surge, but that's a constant so doesnt really need to scale ever)
custom wild magic tables immediately comes to mind, but also why limit it?
Im all for it, was just curious on the use case, can always add a ticket for it
yea, just at work atm and without my phone for 2FA π¦ or I would
another ask would be a number field for level in place of dropdown for the levels, so that we could freely do epic levels without a workaround
Workaround?
people have been mentioning world scripts in the room, and sound like they are able to extend/overwrite options in the system or something
Oh yeah, there's max level in the config which you can overwrite quite easily
Yeah, youβd have to set CONFIG.DND5E.maxLevel anyway to level up to epic levels, and that will automatically give you more levels in the advancements
What would happen to advancements added in a Class item if you lowered the max level?
Safe I assume.
thx!
The data will remain
unable to put a scale value in the range field of an item
it just blanks when you tab out
Need to have the option/control over if the links in Advancement are id or name, else it immediately breaks during update of a compendium when updating those items
would be a nice add to have a Copy button next to the name of the identifier for the Scale Value to help save some typing time, and prevent fat fingering
Letβs try to keep this thread just to actual 1.6.0 bugs please. π
haha, sorry bout that
I think my migration is getting stuck, I've let it run for about 3 hours now with no movement in the console. Logging out and back in starts it all over again, then it seems to stop at the same position. I've also loaded my world in safe mode to try it, and I get the same thing. I do have quite a few compendiums, mostly from DDB
did you backup beforehand? might need to restart from beginning, something might have gotten borked midway through
I ended up removing the DDB compendiums and it completed
huh, wonder what was getting hung up there...
thx for the heads up, will keep that in mind when I update my main world
Eh probably 2000 items, monsters and 500 spells lol
