Is the use case you are trying to solve something like “oops, I rolled normally but I actually have advantage”, etc…?

That's the idea for my use case yeah.

While looking around it sounds like some other systems have chat cards which do things like prompt a user for a roll which then updates that card.

That might be different as the roll doesn't exist when the card is created.

It's something I can use a GM proxy to bypass but I certainly wouldn't be displeased if I didn't need to.
