That's fine!
Would it be better to DM you about this? I'm about to head off to work for a while so I don't want to start troubleshooting and have to leave halfway through
This thread will stay open for 24 hours at least so okay if you need to split. It would be helpful to know what system you are on (e.g. dnd5e), if you are on foundry v9 and if you are on the most recent version of Token Says. Also if you have any translation modules and if this error occurs when all other modules are disabled. I ask all this because I cannot recreate just now.
I'm on Foundry v9, latest DnD 5e update and these are the modules I'm running
Please let me know if your settings (marked with red) for these are different and what they are. That will help me try and recreate:
Finally home sorry for the wait!
This is what I have.
are the things that aren't making audio sound attack rolls and damage rolls and are you using midiQol? If that is the case I think I see what is causing it.
Sorry, didn't tag you with the above questio
I pushed out 1.8.3 that I think corrects the issue re midi Qol and attack/damage. The diff between your settings and mine was the 'Suppress Token Says on Private GM Rolls' setting. There was an incorrect check in relation to this in the code that I fixed. If your issue goes beyond attack/damage then it's something else.
yes
so am i behind on an update?
Also would you know how to have it so that when a token takes damage, they react and nobody else?
I set damaging voicelines to "responds to damage" but everybody within the radius of them reacts
Oh! The update fixed the issue!
Oh great!
The response is as you say, in response to damage being given and not taken. I believe the target reacts module handles audio on taking damage so I haven't pursued that.
Thanks for helping me find the bug!
@unreal terrace Is there any way to have the attack roll option play a voice clip on a critical hit?
Not through Token Says. Not sure if midi has this option. I haven't delved too deep into the deeper system specific data, such as hp, crits, item types, attack types, etc. If you want to add this as a feature request you can stick it on the GitHub.
