sad limitation of discord's role icons- if i use the 64x64 they give me, it ends up unusable at the 20px they actually render it at 😦

yeah, when it's downscaled by more than twice the lines effectively vanish and discord's downsizing it by 3x. I may redraw them with thicker black borders but it looks ugly trying to balance it out

If you're on Compact mode (not showing the user icons and such), they're hidden in that mode, thank goodness.

I had a "please tell me they're intentionally hidden and it's not gonna show up when Discord updates" moment, so I tried switching modes and saw them. So I'm pretty sure that's intentional

Emojis in names are part of a unicode character string of the username, Discord doesn't differentiate character-to-character. User icons and badges are UI elements Discord is adding
