Description:
I'm a somewhat seasoned player who has played PF1e, D&D3.5e and 5e, and a bit of PF2e. I have also roleplayed in various MMORPGs over the years as well as having played quite a few cRPGs.
As a player, I prefer to do exploration and combat due to my social anxiety in RP scenes; this is not to say I am uncomfortable with RP. When it comes to RP scenes, my meekness and anxiety flare up a little and I struggle to fit in my voice unless prompted. Regarding voices, I struggle to do voices beyond my normal speaking voice, so please forgive my inflexibility.
I have a few hard lines in the sand regarding content, the primary two being sexual assault and drug abuse leading to neglect. I am also weary of any in-universe bans on materials related to a core aspect of a class, such as offensive magic scrolls being outlawed for wizards and witches. Finally, as an addendum to the previous sentence, I would prefer if settings weren’t what is known as “low fantasy.” I would prefer if any of these world design quirks are discussed before character creation.
As a person, I'm friendly and outgoing despite my shyness. I'm always eager to try something new and attempt to talk out problems rather than letting them balloon into arguments and shouting. I have ADHD, so I may multitask during sessions by emulating a game or browsing the net, but it isn't out of disinterest, just how my head works. I hope to join your campaign and potentially even make new friends!
Preferences:
I still don't have an answer to what a gestalt game is. That aside, I am currently looking for either an adventure path or homebrew game that is more adventure focused. I would also prefer to not be the only woman in the group, but I realize that this is a very masculine space I'm in, so that might always be possible. I also do not want to do play-by-post.
