@halcyon stream - Any chance of getting a graphic for the M20 mine? Current one looks like a bomb rather than a Claymore.
It's not the end of the earth for people to change it, but would be cool to have a official one
I am only allowed to use official images from the books and there is not one for a claymore. The only concession I have is the ability to use free svg images.

How come all the room names are missing from the Hadleys Hope maps etc?
Also is there no way to get the walls etc all correctly aligned with the grid without making it all again? Like is there a default setting I need to change to be the right size / position?

No they are just place holders. The full text is added if you have the core rules or starter set.

No. The Stunt items are not changed but if you have the modules the correct text is inserted by the system.
As per the MU/TH/ER Instructions :
You should see it already as an item : UA 571-C Sentry Gun
If you want to put them on the maps you would need to use the Item Piles module that allsow you do drop items onto the scene.
Then what do I do to correct the fact it’s missing?

Correct. If you did not have the modules you could add the text to those items.

That is correct in the item. You don't need to touch them.
When you open an actor and click on the spanner next to the Skill the correct text will appear at the bottom.
It just seems odd to have the prompt telling me to do it, rather than "Everything is fine, don't edit this"
The system is not prompting you to edit them.
"Edit the skill-stunts entry for this skill to show the available stunts"
That reads to me to edit them
If any of the official modules (Starter Set or Core Rules) are installed, the text in these items will be ignored but the items should not be deleted or the system will malfunction.
Yeah but that's going back to muthur etc, might be worth putting that description in the skill stunts both that says about editing it
Not everyone buys the mdules. This allows them to add that data to the system if they want to.

Another thing I've picked up on, in the jobs roll table

On the job roll table, in the descriptions when you roll it just shows for example 34 UAD, is it possible for the official roll tables to be updated to show

or even just "k" after it denoting thousands

I also did a HH roll table
So FL pay me to create the modules (not the system I do that for free) and as part of that there is a period of support.
Mm. Do you dump them a load a suggested fixes and they can pay you periodically?
It depends on the severity of the issue. Minor spelling mistakes or things like the job table tend not to garner great enthusiasm.

So if you're doing the system itself still, are you able to look into things like "Token Health" or auto condition for death markers etc?
When using token health (like I do with 5e) it shows this message and doesn't update the tokens health as an example
Is Token Health a module?
So it's like it's grabbing the data but it's not actually applying the health damage
Just makes it vastly easier to update token health
Do you have to configure where the health is stored? system.header.health.value
Looks like you need to set
First one should be : system.header.health.value
Second one: system.header.health.max
Also that module is not compatable with FVTT V11
but doing the context menu doesn't change it

The thing is it works differently in Alien. When a character/creature is broken (hp=0) then make a critical Injury roll. That determines their fate, which may not be instant death.
True, but the same with D&D is that they're downed wheras the creatures are dead

For the descriptors in the Roll tables btw, I've just had a play with this code and got this so it's broken up a little better..

Otherwise the dice rolls are hovering over the "complication" roll prior
and a little of the extra reward below
Another quick fix would be to put in the upper description that the base reward is "In thousands of UA Dollars" like it says on CRB Page 341

I think I may be doing something wrong. I just installed the system and when trying to create an actor of the type creature, it won't open. No error in the console either
What versions of FVTT and Alien are you running.
Most recent for either. It's only the creature type of actor
If you disable all non Alien modules an create a creature what happens
It's a fresh world with no modules enabled

Though I'll restart the server tonight, maybe that'll just fix it. Thought there might be some trick/requirement to it that I missed
Those things usually happen because the actor data is corrupted.
If a restart does nothing, uninstall the Alien system and shutdown the server. Check that the alienrpg directory is gone. Then reinstall Alien.
Reinstalling the system clean and a new world solved it in the end. Weird, but as long as it works whatever. I'm looking forward to playing it
