Just stumbled across this while checking to make sure I hadn't missed any questions about the A5e system.

If the site being mentioned here is the A5e tools site a5e [dot] tools, it's an official website operated by EN Publishing for publicly hosting their Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition content. It's even linked on the main Level Up site in the header: https://www.levelup5e.com/

Also, if @sand flame is looking to use content from Level Up, they are correct that essentially all of the published material for Level Up is covered by the LUSRD, and that content is usable through any of three licenses including CC. The relevant documents are here: https://a5esrd.com/a5esrd

Except for Gate Pass Gazette content, which is pending, the only things not included in the LUSRD are monsters and items tagged as unique, art, and content which has no game-mechanical significance.

Hopefully, you can pass these links on to whoever checks this stuff out for you to save them some digging 🙂

No worries.

The original link had obviously been removed, and the unfortunate similarity of the A5e site to a certain other site has caused problems before, so I made an educated guess haha

I can't speak to the Open5e site more generally, but the backgrounds on there are fair game as far as A5e is concerned. All the ones they have listed are available through OGL, ORC, or CC.

Yeah the problem is there’s a lot of different folks’ published material up there, each of which has its own web of arcane licensing info to sift through (or even find).

There's 4. Kobold press. Green Ronin Publishing, EN Publishing, and WotC. WotC content comes from the 5.1 SRD in creative commons. EN Publishing content is also in the creative commons and also licensed in every other license that exists for the TTRPG space.

Green Ronin and Kobold Press both license under the OGL 1.0a license.

Stuff released there is released under open game content.
