Please give https://github.com/SR5-FoundryVTT/SR5-FoundryVTT/wiki/Actor-Sheets a read. I've updated it to reflect the current state of the system. Let me know if you find anything unclear.

Right now, it only refers to Character Actor sheets. Once people have had a chance to review it, I'll be adding additional sections that cover the other types of Actor sheets.

the Character type actor has all the same functionality and more. => Actor

#

Limited will allow a userto see the Actor in the sidebar,

#

Observer will let the user rsee the entire sheet, but change nothing.

#

Bah! I was working on that section when GitHub was having a conniption.

I would like pictures with arrows ๐Ÿ™‚

I strongly considered dong marked up images, but it's a pain in the ass and the page already seems kinda long.

plus Drane or Fade if => Drain

#

The three ~~seashells ~~buttons => Hyperlink to seashell clip is missing

#

Magic Tab description is missing rituals. Dont know if you have access to dev builds

gray lichen
#

Are they an entirely unique item type in a released build? Or are they just a property on a Spell item?

alpine magnet
#

Rituals are unique items due to different test behaviour

#

Also metamagics and echos got added as item types

gray lichen
#

"In a released build" is probably the most important part of that question. I'm not going to include them in the documentation if they're not generally available yet.

You can access the Chummer Character Import here. => Only for characters

gray lichen
#

Yes... it says character right there. You copied it even. ๐Ÿ™‚

#

"Chummer Character Import" and "Chummer Item Import" are two different articles.

alpine magnet
#

It is written that the character import is on the misc tab. That is only true for actor type character

#

Sometimes questions arise how to import vehicles

gray lichen
#

See the second paragraph of my first statement in this thread. ๐Ÿ™‚

#

It's a WIP. Vehicles will be addressed later.

#

Also, the specifics of the Character Importer will be addressed in the Character Importer article.

alpine magnet
#

In this case:
Actor Sheets => Character Actor Sheets

Clarify?

alpine magnet
#

Thats the heading

#

Most of your text reads as a general overview over all actor types

#

Which is also implied by the heading ๐Ÿ™‚

#

And I think it does a good job as that

gray lichen
alpine magnet
#

Intention and delivery diverge. Thats what I am pointing at

gray lichen
#

I'm still not sure what you're getting at. The vehicle-related stuff hasn't been included at all, and I've been quite clear that it's to-be-done.

alpine magnet
#

Do you want to copy e.g. the gear section for every actor type?

gray lichen
#

The other sections are going to be "Just like a character, except for..."

@boreal jungle Any thoughts from your perspective?

Good so far, I've change few minor things like

  • typos and
  • I added a note for the General Actions compendium in Header 'Common Attribute-Only-Test'-section.

There's some ideas I have:

  • Do we need semi-self explanatory stuff (editing name)?
  • Should we start the 'Character' section with some broad to narrow style structure? Starting with 'mode' stuff (awakend, emerged), explaining that by doing so you'll getting the appropriate feature and then going down each like currently? Not much explaining what each will add, but just that the sheet is separated into different broad modes.
  • Some explanations for specific fields should be added as a tooltip on the sheet instead of the wiki only. That way the implementation and explanation is more connected and less likely to drift apart. If you find simple to explain but missing field tooltips, let's throw some issues my way and I'll add them.
#

Adding tooltips is also a easy way for new devs to get to know system dev.

Tours would also play a role there
