Do you have Border Control module active?

pale atlas
#

Nope I don't have that module

gusty flax
#

OK try using Find the Culprit module to see if it's a module's doing or not

pale atlas
#

ah okay, I didn't know that was a module, I'll check it out

gusty flax
#

Get it, then go to Manage Modules tab in the sidebar and you will find the Find the Culprit button at the bottom right

#

I would suggest "locking" libwrapper and socketlib modules if you have them, as this will make things easier

pale atlas
#

locking as in locking updates for them?

gusty flax
pale atlas
#

ah got it

gusty flax
#

After you initiate Find the Culprit, the above Dialog pops up

pale atlas
#

should the page refresh happen pretty quickly?

gusty flax
#

It disables modules so it should happen a bit faster than when they are active, but it all depends on the amount of Items, Scene, Actors you have in your sidebar and/or hosting etc

#

Is it stuck?

rocky flare
#

were you logged in as the DM for those vision modes?

#

that could just be shared cache issues

pale atlas
#

I'm logged in for one browser with a user in another

rocky flare
#

is there any character on the map with a unique sense detection mode? if so is the player and dm sharing the same cache?

pale atlas
#

It does seem to be stuck atm

gusty flax
#

CTRL+F5

rocky flare
#

find the culprit is one of those modules that installs a broken version by default and you have to update it after install

gusty flax
#

does it? ha TIL

pale atlas
#

interesting

#

ftc disabled all modules but the issue persists

#

*except libwrap/socketlib

rocky flare
#

pale atlas
#
