No. tried it on my primary drive, which is EXT4 and the secondary storage which is XFS
yeah should work from EXT4, dunno about XFS
theres some mount params to workaround that but I don't remember which ones are
wonder if the high RAM is causing some divide by zero or something

finally got the file system changed over to EXT4 and suddenly the game works
man was it a pain to move 2 TB+ of data around
you can add XFS to the list of file systems SC won't run on

But that would imply that some file systems have behavior that messes with the way POSIX stuff is handled deep down, so that can't be it there. Very strange... 🤔
Engine filesystem API is just a wrapper for low level standard functions, don't remember of anything special in there 🤔
I attached another disk and formatted it XFS and tried to run SC from it
same error
so something about the XFS file system it doesn't like
Tried a HL 25 mod, crashes just the same. I guess the -mod function in SC itself is broken now
