im really new to all things linux and im trying to set up Sven Co-Op on a raspberry pi 400 4gb of ram but it keeps displaying this error

#

if someone could help i'd really appreciate it since im barely know what im doing

How did you get it to work this far on a arm based device in the first place?

radiant flint
#

i dont know 😭

#

with box86

#

i think that's what allows it to run

strong vortex
#

Crazy

#

This likely hasn't been done before so you are in wild and undocumented territories

Raspberry Pie OS Da

#

I used to make that.

radiant flint
#

im far gone screwed ain't i

Missing 32-bit loader means you don't have a x86 system to run the binaries.

#

or you're running out of box86 or something, I never tried that.

#

Were you able to run Steam on that rpi? You won't be able to run the game if you don't have Steam running and working (as I see in the pic you're trying to run the game client, not the server)

radiant flint
#

opening the game from steam doesn't help tho

shrewd dove
#

same message?

radiant flint
#

yep

#

i can record you a video if that helps

shrewd dove
radiant flint
#

you mean running the svencoop.sh script with steam open?

shrewd dove
#

for example, in terminal:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./svencoop_linux```
radiant flint
#

sorry if i don't understand very well im super new to all linux

shrewd dove
#

how you're attempting to run? typing in terminal "./svencoop.sh" ?

radiant flint
#

i do that

shrewd dove
#

oh

#

I saw you mentioning box86 so I thought you were doing something special for that.

radiant flint
#

to tell the truth i don't know if i should do something special to make the game run on box86, i just run it as is

#

don't know if its the right way to do

#

from this line i believe that box86 is running when i try to launch the game but somethings failing

shrewd dove
#

Yeah it doesn't mention what has crashed. I don't know what to suggest in this case, I never tried emulating x86 on a arm device before.

It's bad idea to try to run x86 software on ARM device aaagaben
If you need some tiny machine for server purposes or something related, I'd recommend find some ThinkCentre devices, they're pretty cheap and not much bigger in comparison with RPI, and it's just usual x86_64 computer therefore you won't encounter issues with software. Also it's much more perfomant than Raspberry Pi

Oh i was just trying to get the game running so i could have two instances of the game to play with family, as i've seen some youtube videos showing that for example tf2 was able to run on the pi i thought I'd give it a shot

#

I first thought to try with sven coop cause its way lighter than tf2

#

Apparently it could possibly work without messing with settings on Windows 11

#

That comes with it's own issues tho

#

The raspberry pi 400 is basically a raspberry pi 4, even with it being better than the last models
