It's a scam - that Discord link will take you to an app auth page that gives the bot access to add you to servers, and it'll then keep adding you to the spam server even if you leave, until you deauthorize it

In other words, you cannot remove the payment method attached to an ongoing subscription - you'll either have to add a new method then swap, or stop the subscription, before you remove the payment method in question

I think you need to read the terms of service in detail. They may say that it is secure but there is more to that.

Take Pokemon Go for an example. Their terms of service is worded in a way that makes your data look secure. However, studies show that they are "data stealing." Their terms of service allows them to take personal information from you (example: where you live, where you work, etc...) and sell it to google for extra profit. Most companies that want money also do this but I'm not sure if Discord does this. Best to check with the Terms of Service and decode it.

When it comes to the internet, you have to choose between two options. You can't choose both - only one. The two options are either privacy or accessibility.

If you choose security, you have annoying ways to prove to your devices that you really are you. You need like 2 step verification and a really really complicated password to your accounts along with a nice VPN and other things like that to hide your identity. The problem is that this method is really annoying. The ads aren't personalized for you and it takes a long time to log into your account compared to having more accessibility. This overall is more secure and harder for other people to track you, but also is really hard to use since you will constantly be signing in and out and things like that.

If you choose accessibility, all your personal information and other secure information are at much higher risk. You have no complicated way to access your stuff but that is the same for everybody. People have not found a way to make sure a device is really you, so the device treats you like it would treat any other person. If for say you have a complicated passcode on your phone and it is stolen, the phone would ask the robber for the same passcode that it would ask you. This is a problem because if you don't have a secure passcode, then it would ask thieves for the same weak passcode as it would ask you. It is easier to access your devices and other information, but that applies to anybody else. The weaker the security your device has, the more prone to hackings and other issues your device is.
