Hey. I am in a very difficult situation at the moment. My account was disabled and after 30 days, deleted (unintentional, but that's another case, please don't treat me as if I really broke any terms of conditions). My server meets all the requirements to transfer ownership, but there is another problem, the email itself doesn't exist anymore, support says that their database doesn't have the email. But how is that possible, when they send me an automated message, they have in there, Hey! {Name}, how did they get the name if the account wasn't in the database? I tried reaching out supporting saying that the number is still there and when I try to log in through that account by that number instead of the email, it does say that my account is disabled. Why can't I use that number to verify that I was the owner?

why would I always have to receive an automated message when a human staff can easily handle this by manually checking the number database. I am really discouraging the discord support system at the moment.

You should be safe if you didn't enter any information/download anything, but resetting your password every so often doesn't hurt. Especially in situations like these.

Also, not to mention I'm not entirely sure your account would instantly start sending scams upon being compromised.
They might just wait around a bit, and then start. Just because you can't tell anything being wrong right now doesn't mean your account can't be compromised.

Say that there was a way for these scammers to steal your token through a webpage by running some code, they could've run that code afore the page was fully loaded.

Though, there shouldn't be a way for scammers to steal your Discord token if you don't enter your information. Assuming of course there are no vulnerabilities, and that you do not have their code running on your machine.

Browsers are very restrictive about accessing stuff like that.

Obviously though, don't run anything in your Discord console or download anything.

Half the time these scammers obfuscate their code.

you would need to publish it on websites that list the bots. then it becomes public and you can link people the page if you want it on that server specially. Im not sure if there is a way to add it of your not the owner or have full admin perms.

This is not accurate. Publishing a bot on third-party bot aggregators is not what makes them public. There is a toggle you'll need to hit that allows the bot to be added publicly, and then you'll need to give people an oauth URL to add the bot. That's it. (There are now additional ways where you can have the "add this bot" button appear on your bot's in-app profile, and bot discovery is coming soon as well.)

It's a bit hard to tell without more context @timid raptor, but it seems like they want you to:

• See if you're able to receive emails from discord ([e-mail] & [e-mail])
• Whitelist both those support emails in your mobile email client (whatever application you use for reading/sending email on your phone)
• After you've done that, on your phone, request another password reset email (done through the discord app on your phone)
• After you've done that^, on your phone, disconnect/disable wifi and ensure you're connected to "data" (cellular), and see if you get the email any quicker through your phone
• They also want you to double-check your spam/trash inboxes to see if t he email ended up there
• Finally, email them back with whatever results you have

If you can share your original support ticket (appropriately redacted of course) I can probably give you a bit more specifics, if you want me to rephrase/re-explain anything above happy to do so too

Vanity urls cannot be permanent, they will disappear when the perk is removed from the server, aka if you lose level 3 or partnered/verified status. There are only a few old servers that got to keep their vanity after losing the partnered status.

The date does reset, so the only way they'd have that is if they'd been subscribing since feb 9th 2021
Note that badges such as nitro don't necessarily display in profiles if the profile information isn't loaded (see attached screenshot) so I'm guessing that you didn't share mutual servers until recently?

That's likely due to your speakers' output being picked up by your microphone @viscid nova , I'd suggest lowering input sensitivity (Settings - Voice and Video) and turning on Krisp if it's available for you (shows up when you join a vc)

Hey guys. So, I have a question. Are anyone else’s DM notifications (more specifically on iOS) not working? I’ve been having this problem as of late, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Even tried to reset my settings, to no avail. As I mentioned earlier, It’s only been happening on my iPhone. On my other tablet it’s a different story, and I get my notifications just fine. If the original person is having same problem the best thing to do that I have found is to factory reset phone AFTER you have saved all important things to iCloud storage (you can buy more monthly and then cancel it) and just factory reset but make sure you know ur Apple ID and watch a YouTube video to make sure u do all of it right. I’m guessing android has a similar thing. The purpose is to clear all the stuff that gets stuck in the “other” storage that gets filled even though it’s supposed to clear out automatically

Heyoooo, does anyone know why people cannot move channels even with the manage channels option enabled?

I've tried turning it on and off and on again, I have tried looking at individual channel permissions. Moderators have these all set up but still cannot move the channels. I tried also doing the bug trick where you slightly go to the left of the # and try to move it. Nothing is working.... Only admins can move the channels which shouldn't be the case.
