If you buy members (usually bots) Discord will notice that and your server will get nuked, you won't be eligible to go Discoverable even with 10k users.
In case somebody bought members for you as a gift (it can happen) ban all users that joined via bot. No matter what, and add this note in your private channel as a proof that you cleaned your server from sketchy and bot accounts.

This is exactly what I am trying to say. The server will get nuked if you 'buy' members, and this way is only possible with certain sites on the web. I don't know any other method, unless you advertise it. Then there's nothing wrong with it.

if done automatically via the API, you should recieve a response header telling you how many times you can use this endpoint wihtin a given period (also present in the response header)

But I help with a boost role-only channel meshing with shadowban role perms.

So I have a channel for boosters only in my server. Normal people are disabled from sending messages, but boosters can send messages.

However, people with the Shadowban role are still able to talk there if they have the boost role, despite not being able to talk everywhere else.

In the normal channels, it's set up so that the verified role for normal users can send messages/media. And the shadowban role is above all other roles(other than mod roles) in the hierarchy, and it has sending messages disabled in all channels(aside from one for appeal). So if someone has both a verified role and the shadowban role, they can't send messages.

In the server boost channel it's set up basically the same way but won't work. The verified role can't send messages, but the boost role can. This is intended. What isn't intended is that people with all 3 roles can still send messages, even if they have the shadowban role(which is still above the boost role in the hierarchy) which has sending messages set to X. It seems this is not boost-role specific, if I make any role at any hierarchy that can send messages in that channel, the Shadowban role doesn't restrict anything.

Long story short: My Quest doesn't progress, even when I have the game Open
The Quest is to have Dead By Daylight open for 15 minutes while having Discord open
The Quest simply doesn't progress regardless of if I'm in a match or if I have the game open

I realised that i maybe could have asked here first before submitting a support request to discord themselves.

IS there a way to block server tags from a server? just hide them from all users for example.

that would mean you have to use the automod rule that blocks usernames/displaynames

disabling every possible tag would mean you have to block every possible unicode character with a length of 1 to 4 (min and max length of a server tag)

but that would also mean that users with a username and/or displayname consisting of 2, 3, 4 characters would be blocked as well, so not really a good idea

after all server tags are behind a “paywall” so Discord themselves gave servers the opportunity to promote servers through a server tag when they bought and used enough server boosts
