Members of a server only get actioned if that server facilitates illegal content (scams, hacking, fraud, csam). That is a completely different bracket that is miles away from an underage user being in a server, which its staff cannot even verify (nor should, as discord doesnt endorse this) until they reveal that themselves. I don't think I need to explain how astronamically backwards and dangerous it would be if the entire server's userbase would be actioned over that.

Hello! I use the Discord client for Linux, and am having some issues with discord status detection. idk if any of you guys would have any advice for me?

My games are not showing up as a status on Discord. I have enabled the game activity sharing, made sure the game is registered and detected, and had others check my profile in case I just couldn't see it. Games will show up as a past activity once I have finished playing it, but will not show up as a current activity while I am currently playing.

Does anyone have any ideas?

(I am not using the flatpak version of discord, nor are any of my games running in flatpak. ive tested this with both linux native games as well as windows games on WINE. They are detected just fine, as you can see in the screenshots, but they are not showing up as status)

I dont know where else to go, but suddenly nobody can see any channels that are linked to onboarding. As in, the only way to get to them is to # and type them in the chat, send, and then click it. Announcement and rolemenu have both disappeared, and do not appear in the browse channels. I've ran discord servers for 8 years, this one for 4. I've never had this happen

Some people can see it, most cannot. It's super strange. @ everyone can see it, they have perms checked in addition to having the perms by default, and the only additional role perms are for staff, which allows them to type there.

Hey guys I changed the email address of an account to another which had a discord account previously banned for violation. But as soon I verified the mail address change my account got suspended. If I read this correctly, you were banned from Discord on an account 1 registered to X e-mail address. You wanted to continue using X e-mail address, so you changed account 2 to use X e-mail address, which caused account 2 to be banned as well.

Update to this: i cannot press the forgot password button, because it will tell me that "This field is required" and even if i put in a wrong password it doesnt work.. if i put in nothing at all it tells me i need to put in a password but as soon as i put in a SINGLE letter it tells me "this field is required". If i put in nothing in the password section and press on forgot password the same text appears.. if i put in both the same message also appears and if i put in nothing in one of them it also doesnt work.. reinstalling the app also didnt work

You know when u first enter say, this server...all that stuff I had to go thru before even posting? The agreements; check boxes; rules; and even as you look thru channels, the server will have a 3 second pop-up of saying congrats on reviewing 3 new channels thus far and the pop up fades away?

It looks like you're on mobile client. The Onboarding settings are Desktop client only feature though after setting it up anyone joining the server will be able to interact with thise popup regardless of platform
