I have been managing two accounts for various tasks (admin / user) in my client for some time now; this has worked without any problems until today.
since i accepted a friend request today, i have been asked to verify my mobile phone every time i switch between accounts.
as you can obviously only verify a mobile phone number with one account, i'm wondering how i can get out of this mess?!
I can also no longer log in via a browser with the second account without verification and at that moment the verification for the "first" account is lost

surely someone who manages 5 accounts in their client doesn't have 5 different mobile phones/numbers?
I'm going crazy 😵‍💫

Most people don’t have multiple people. If a server has phone number verification enabled, then getting a role in that server will bypass the requirement

I would like to just tell you a scam that i went through recently, if anyone tells you they accidentally reported you, ignore, block, and dont respond, this is what happens if you do respond: they will say something close to this : "Okay so let me explain. I was about to report someone for scamming me but I accidentally reported your discord account for doing illegal purchases & scamming instead of someone else and discord Support said that your account will be suspended/banned and your IP will be blocked on discord, if there is no action taken from you." And after that they will ask you to add someone, lets just call that someone miguel for now, miguel will ask you for your FULL name, age, country, and email, and after that she/he will ask for you to change your email so your account can be under "discord support", and will ask you to make a new account, and aafter that they will ask for your bank information to see if you have done any "scams", and no matter how many times you tell them that you were accidentally reported, they will still need to confirm, (to scam you) and if you give them your bank information they will most likely "put it under discord support" again, and could lead you into your bank account being hacked. If you say you dont have a bank account, miguel will start asking for your || innapropriate pictures|| and tell you to do it or you'll get banned. Remember, discord will NEVER ask you to do this, so stay safe everyone!

hi. i just found this guy trying to scam my stupid friend, he got this message from a person who probably got hacked, and since my friend almost believed this i want to inform some people that do not know how these scams work.
most of the people that run these scams say things like "sorry, i accidentally reported your account to discord, try talking to this support guy so he can help you, and then they send the username. after that the "support guy" helps you change your password and email so that he can steal your account.
