Discord is picking up my pc audio, If I test my mic inside discord a huge echo occurs, if I test it in any other app it sounds just fine. I have both my headset and mic set as default devices. This is a strictly a discord problem that has nothing to do with any other hardware/software other than discord. If they try to DM you, it will completely stop them from sending anything to you like characters, files, invites, etc.. In a server though, if they don’t have you blocked they can still see your message just fine without clicking on it, though for you you see the blocked message pop-up.

Discord has been acting rlly weird lately. For example when I join a voice channel It can just be Connecting me infinitely and the only fix is restart my computer and when it starts immediately join the vc I want to join. When I'm connected no issues occur. Next, any files I send only seem to be able to send at a certain time all at once and before it occurs all files are just "Processing". And finally any screenshare I try to share or watch seem to be infinitely loading and I or the person screensharing need to restart the stream and seeming by random it will work. It's definitely not connectivity issues because of the vc thing always working perfectly but only after I restart my computer, the files sending only at certain intervals all at once and the stream working perfectly fine once it's able to load. It's getting kind of unbearable now and I'm rlly looking for a fix! Thank you in advance!

Well it does sound like a connection issue to me. Just because one thing works fine in a specific instance doesn’t mean it’s not the connection. Make sure you have clear and solid connection, and I would also double check what’s taking up network resources on your computer

Personally my experience with Discord Support wasn't very different. But you should not send 30+ appeals. Also do not expect a message from them that fast, they took 1 month when I had an issue with my account. Patience is important, and they will move you down to their unimportant list which will basically make your ticket take really long to get a response to. Don't send all those appeals, be patient and if discord doesn't solve your problem, it means your violation just cant be lifted, like Sith Happens said, it's best to move on 🙂

Discord has a weird recognition pattern, theres memes that on other platforms are completely normal but due to discords recognition pattern they probably flagged one of your pictures as inappropriate, no you cant doa nything about it its discord child safety rules. they have some sort of database of those pictures and ocne they match those with inappropriate ones they flag you immediately. very sorry to inform you but i guess you really cant do anyhting

I see on the Discord Site, under "Channel Following FAQ" that the server pings are supposed to be (essentially) sanitized before being posted to the channel in your server, "including everyone and here".

But, I found this because I'm trying to figure out how to stop the role mentions from the origin server from working on my server. Two are sending them through just fine.

The safest and TOS compliant solution is to mark channels as age-restricted. Yea, people can still fake their age when making an alt, but at that point it outside your scope of worries.
