If you can't send a DM to a ModMail bot, it just means your DMs are closed on that server, you need at least 1 server in common with the bot where your DMs are open to be able to send/receive DMs with it.

i often keep my DMs closed, but open them while i need to use a modmail bot, then when my ticket is resolved i closed them back

File association in Windows is the application or type of file being referenced by their extension such as .jar would be associated to Java however you'd need to set that. It doesn't mean the file is broken though. It just means Windows doesn't know how to handle that file nor what application uses said file.

StreamKit Overlay is Discord's official Stream toolkit, it's basically the overlay that is displayed on OBS.
It's not malicious but it can be optional if you ignore it.
