Hey guys, I'm curious about something. So I submitted a pair of servers to Disboard 3.5 months. They still haven't been approved yet. Someone told me I might wait even longer.

I was wondering: how does this make any sense? Let's say it takes 9 months for Disboard to approve those servers. Why would they do that? I've been told that if I had Nitro I would get an approval faster, but this is something I learned about only months later, and on Disboard's Discord server it makes it sound like a technical issue, like Disboard is setting up some mechanism to approve servers faster.

A) Why would you set up a directory that takes 9+ months to list content on?
B) Why would you have a REAL way to get approved faster but then mislead people into thinking that the reason the approval is slow is something other than the real way?
C) How does Disboard benefit from people buying Nitro?

My friends account got suspended, and discord wont tell them what they did wrong. When they emailed discord for help, they pretty much said "you know what you did" and refused to respond any further.

Ngl, I find it broken to punish someone, then tell them to screw off when they ask why. Especially if they genuinely do not know what they did wrong. It's just not how justice or the justice system works or should work.

I was wondering: how does this make any sense? Let's say it takes 9 months for Disboard to approve those servers. Why would they do that? I've been told that if I had Nitro I would get an approval faster, but this is something I learned about only months later, and on Disboard's Discord server it makes it sound like a technical issue, like Disboard is setting up some mechanism to approve servers faster.

A) Why would you set up a directory that takes 9+ months to list content on?
B) Why would you have a REAL way to get approved faster but then mislead people into thinking that the reason the approval is slow is something other than the real way?
C) How does Disboard benefit from people buying Nitro?
