They'll probably send an email that looks legit but all the links extract your api token if it's attached to your Discord or something like that. they need a way to fetch headers that's where you come in,
you give them access to these things when you use their links, attachments, joining a call in some cases, emails, scan a qr etc...
The discord email looks legit, just be aware. They probably knew something was off I bet "support" ties to dm soon

You need to click on your server and go to overview, select the appropriate channel and toggle the appropriate setting to set up a welcome channel.

If you meant which channel a person sees first? You'll need to click the server, go to channels, at the top right use reorder and simply replace the top most channel.
You can also just edit the those uppermost channels, these are the first things you see coming in, there's more required in being fancy with it if you want you can dm and and send me an invite and join in vc I don't mind helping you get it setup.

Hey ^^ I own a small RP server and got a small problem: every time that people choose an access role via Onboarding, they simply don't see any of the channels that they now have access to. That role is important since roleplay is not the only aspect of the Server and people that are not interested simply shouldn't see it until they show interest.

I'm not sure if this issue only appears on people that already have the role. The report came from one that does.

Some apps don't allow you record their activity like screen recorders, or when streaming, or ss's.
Check your overlay settings maybe. in other cases its an admin lvl security feature and there's not much you can do about it, Easily or simply anyways.

I empathize with your situation, I use a few accounts here for projects myself, but I am extremely strict about my presence online. And have never experienced an issue like that personally. It hurts to read, I feel your pain, and your not going to like my response, but there's not much that can be done other than trust the process, it's always possible to lose accounts. It changes our status to say "chillin" and we have to manually remove it every time we are in the voice channel. Try to remain patient, support may close other tickets if you open another. You can reply to your ticket instead.

With that said Discord does not play with age related jokes, minors or anything similar. You can be permanently suspended, it's possible.

Does someone know if Jared Miller is a legitimate Discord security person? It seems like the whole thing is a scam, but I just want to make sure I know.
Basically the premise is that a previous hacked account will send you dm telling you that you've been reported and your account will be terminated for these reports, so they ask you to contact a dude named "Jared Miller" to prevent termination
