That's fair. The server in question is selling all bunch of member services and spam bots. Also has some rather extreme slurs in it.

Message got deleted and received a time-out, so left the server. At least that confirms that it's why I got added. Thanks again!

I've been having really good growth for my server, so I opened mod applications (I don't do them as an application event, but more on a rolling basis). One guy applied for mod who had already been warned for spamming, which he started an argument about, but later apologized for. He later left my server, and we had some mutual servers + his DMs were open, so I let him know that he did not pass the application since he left the server and wouldn't be able to moderate a server he's not in. Immediately after, he started apologizing and rejoined immediately and has been interacting with the server even more than before. He's applied again, but I've already decided not to accept him because he seems and has been argumentative and I would like to have more understanding staff members (who also follow the rules lol.) I have not told him this yet. The thing that makes me the most weirded out is the fact that he changed his PFP to "fanart" that he made of my server which is very similar to my logo. It makes the general chat look very weird especially when he started conversations with just me and I think people seem to think of him as associated with the server since some new members asked him some questions. What can I do about this? How do I explain to him that he was rejected from his application because of his argumentativeness? I don't want to offend him, but this has also become a minor inconvenience to me as a server owner.

Hey, I'm just curious what I am to do. My main account that I've had for 8 years just got perma suspended. I recently was the victim of a token grab where they got access to some accounts and passwords, I've since reported to the police and changed all relevant passwords. Then when I got home from work yesterday I had an email to say I had been permanently suspended because of "minimum age requirement" which would mean I am under 13. I am 23 so I followed the age verification steps to a tee, showed me passport with some paper and my discord user written down with my face in the picture and everything is super visible. Then today I got ANOTHER violation for the same thing. I dont understand it. I found someone on twitter who fell victim to the same thing and apparently the person just went into my account on discord for web then inspect element and changed a message from me to say something like "I am [below minimum age]" and then reported my account. This was either prior or after trying to extort me for money in exchange for not leaking my information. I dont know where to go from here discord support has been utterly useless and I cannot lose that discord account because it has friends I only have on there and also a server with me and all my friends which has so many memories and stuff that I'd lose being the owner of that server.

After looking into it, any channel that’s nested in the Server Guide tab, seems to ONLY be accessible there. Clyde is just a bot that automatically responds to tickets and doesn't do any investigating on your case. All tickets are eventually looked at by a real support agent. How long that will take is completely random but the general ballpark is around a couple weeks or even months.

I would check for any recent transactions on your bank account. If you see any mass payments for Nitro, I would lock your card and report it to your bank.

if you did save your card on the account, and a scammer did take it over, you should concider blocking your card or atleast telling your bank to charge back any purchases if the scammer makes a purchase (this is against tos and will terminate the account too, so the scammer cant use it anymore)

this should only be an issue if the role of the member in question has moderation premissions, normal members should usualy not be given those premissions

for safety reasons, moderators on community servers need to have 2fa enabled

If you're on PC, use mod view. It'll tell you what moderation perms every users has. Could be you added it somewhere accidently.

there are a few things you can try if you haven't already;
updating discord, updating your system, restarting your system, killing discord using task manager, and re-launching it or completely re-installing discord

if none of these work i suggest seeking out forums talking about the same/simmelar issue, and checking out what worked for other people, and if nothing else works you might just have to wait for an update to fix the issue
