Yesterday, someone’s hacked account reached out to me and said my old account got reported for illegal activity and gave me a reference to contact to help resolve the issue. At the time, I didn’t know that the person was a scam account, but I brought it up to them and my old account was “terminated.” In the process, my account was compromised and I ended getting scammed into losing money. Is there anyway for me to shut down that old account entirely so that it’s no longer connected to any of my info like my email or phone number?
