It’s generally safe, discord is very strict when it comes to age that they won’t even let you change it after making an account. So if your trying to recover an account that was banned for being younger than 13 you must provide these things

Then you can not get rid of the Badge unless you are no longer boosting a server. You have to go into your Boost subscription and stop it to start the 7-Day cooldown.

Dubai what I would suggest doing is Boost a random server you like and then cancel it, at least that way it will actively show you how long you have left on Boost cooldown. It will not show you how long of a cooldown you currently have because you're no longer in that server you left.
