Not sure if anyone has had this issue, but I'm working on my Discord Server right now, and while channel categories seem to be in the right order, when I go into Mobile one of the channel categories are at the top of the list when desktop shows a completely different thing.

On the left is Desktop, on the right is Android. I'm not sure why, but if you notice Community Hangout is on top, but Desktop says The Beginning is on top. Any ideas?

Yes, I did. Many times. Then I asked to billing services to cancel my Nitro, they told me my account got suspended, I needed to appeal, which I did, still no explanations, I just go from place to place, still as lost as at the beginning

this goes without saying but if you're dealing with an account that has been disabled due to being underaged, make sure you're submitting a ticket with this option selected, rather than the one above it. also, please make sure you are not submitting duplicate tickets, only one is necessary and afterwards just remain patient. be sure to include all required information you read in the email you received and fill out the boxes on the age update form accordingly

rest assured it isnt for no reason, these types of appeals have been ongoing for months rather than only recently, it's just spiked because many users are making these jokes and are not prepared for what happens afterwards (in other words, they aren't used to being reported for it)

• someone reports a message
• if a message contains a value < 13, then suspend an account

discord bot isn't scanning whole servers. There is too many servers and too many messages to scan it automatically for no reason. Just some of users are false reporting messages, and then bot is blocking accounts, when message meets the alghoritm. I'm just curious, why people started reporting NOW. There is always a reason. One of users in my discord server just messaged: "I'm X y/o lets see if i will be banned" and his message looked like he learned from somewhere and that's why he did it. This whole wave of blockades is exactly what it looks like, as if someone popular said it out loud and people started reporting the messages en masse, and before that no one thought of it

i'd say that part of the reason why it has became a trend to report user's for this would be because there are youtubers that are misinforming viewers, also making it more known causing more users to just go around reporting messages just to cause people problems, however, just because a user states "let's see if i get banned" does not make them immune to any action being taken on their account. for all the trust and safety team knows, this user could genuinely be the age they are stating and attempting to bypass any moderation action. user's are not being disabled for simply sending a message with a number less than 13, they have to fully state or imply that they are under the age of 13 in order for their account to be disabled. also, i used to think it was a bot scanning the messages as well, however after doing a bit more research and reading input from actual discord staff, every time a user is disabled for being underaged it is a real trust and safety agent taking action on their account. again, it has only spiked recently because more and more users are stating that their accounts were disabled for that specific reason, other users see this and think that reporting them would be a humourous thing to do and watch them struggle to update their age information. moral of the situation -- don't make jokes about being underaged as the trust and safety team can never be so sure on if it's a joke or not

To be clear, there isn't a bot or some AI scanning servers or messages. If your account is suspended for being underage, it's because you said you were underage, another user reported you, and a human being checked to make sure you did it.

From what I remember you are from the Trust & Security team. I read on Twitter that seriously a lot of submissions were received, so I sympathize with the processing of a lot of stupid submissions, because I know from myself that it is sometimes taken out of context, and in fact all the work fell on your team because someone wanted to troll. Acctually in my case I was quite open about the fact that I have been working as a webdeveloper for 8 years and the fact that I am 30 years old this year. That's why I call it "out of context."

I have been using this testing bot for couple of months to practice coding and made some fun stuff so last month I invited it a server created by my friend which have around 200 members. I know the server is small but for my friend has his own idea after all but I created a problem for him and I wanna fix that. The problem is today my bot started by sending random texts and pinging everyone. First of all I thought it was some code mistakes or something made by the bot but some time later it started messing with the server channels, some channels got deleted and some were moved around so I immediately remove all admin based perms and changed my password and enabled two-factor authentication and fortunately the hell ended but after a few minutes, in my testing server some random dudes joined and I was surprised as i didn't invite anyone nor left the server link anywhere. Then they said me to give the bot admin permission and I declined and they started saying they will leak my ip address so i acted as if i didn't care but deep down i was kinda scared what if something happens. Immediately I deleted my testing server. Can I get some help about what I should be doing now to not face such problems?

If he used your bot, your api key leaked somewhere. Did you upload it on github/gitlab or other system as public repo? Many scrappers are searching for db passwords, api keys and much more. If you want to upload your code public, just dont upload any credentials. You need to reset your key for bot. Report is a good thing, but you need be secured for the future
