So you would want to put all channels except the channel where this specific rule should be applied for example all channels except the channel where tenor links are allowed

also *tenor* should be the phase, no need of media.

and there should be a 4th rule in which there would be no allowed phrase just the regex and these 3 three channels in allowed channels list

Hi, I'm coming here after posting my issue in discord-developers, they stated this place is a better place equipped to deal with my issue.

I cannot create tickets using the https://dis.gd/report form structure/options. I can only create tickets through the General Question option. My issue is that whenever I try to reference my main issue, I'm assuming a bot replies and they tell me to open a new issue through https://dis.gd/report despite me stating in the issue that it hasn't been working.

I've done some testing today and found that when trying to send a report with these parameters filled in sends a http status 302 (this doesn't create a ticket). Whereas a general question report which generates a status code 200, creates a ticket. I am asking if there are any ways for me to get discord to respond with an actual human being, I'm trying to tell them that their form is incorrectly structured but they keep trying to redirect me.

'roles lower than their highest role' means it doesn't actually matter what role you put this perm on, it will still look at the user's highest role and allow them to edit all roles below. Or does this only apply to the role you add this permission to and only enable editing of roles below that role?

easier to explain this with actual example... Below is part of my role list and I want commanders to be able to assign the ranks below the commander role. However, this is only part of the server and these roles don't give perms for channels (they are largely aesthetic). Roles for channel perms are above starting with the member role. Therefore on my setup, the person with the commander role will also have member and other roles above that for channel access. However, I only want them to be able to assign below the commander role to other users. Would setting the manage roles perm on the commander role only enable editing below the commander role or would they be able to edit member as well (as the users would also have member role as well as commander).

you can additionally view the server with that role, which allows you to almost have the user experience of that role. it's very neat for testing permissions, but if you're still curious then I would definitely recommend using an alt for testing role perms

Was wondering if there's something in settings anywhere that makes sure you need to read over the rules and then once you've accepted them, you get a certain role.

The scammer pretends to be Discord support, insinuating that your account has committed some sort of violation. They ask you to go through a 'verification process' where you have to change your e-mail address to one of their choosing.

Once you do that, they just request a password change and you're locked out.

It doesn't come from a random DM. Usually, an account you're already friends with sends you a DM, saying they've accidentally reported you and you have to sort it out. You trust that person, so you trust that the screenshot of the e-mail they sent you 'from Discord' is legitimate. That e-mail instructs you to contact a second account.

Once your account has been compromised, they'll use it to send the scam to all of your friends in turn.
