Yo, I need help

I have a game studio that I'm running, which used to have a discord server. Unfortunately, my account (which owned the server) was banned and now there is no one who has control over the server (or even moderating permissions). I'm trying to get it taken down, because nobody ever uses it and sometimes people are mislead into asking questions about the studio in our server, rather than going to an active social media page. I've contacted discord support multiple times about getting the server taken down, but they've rejected my requests.
If anyone has any advice on what I could do, that would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Okay - so transferring all funds meant they would make payments through my bank account. I had to also remove my credit card from the PayPal account.

It's atrocious the way Discord is handling hacking cases.

Hello, when you gift a profile effect to someone, does it automatically adds it to their profile effect inventory or is it a link they could share to someone else? Also, what if they do not accept the gift does it go to your gift inventory so you can reuse it later? And why can you only gift profile effects to friends unlike nitro which has a gift link that you can send the gift it in server, group, and DM channels or that you can simply store it in your gift inventory?

Also, when you have a brand new account or no friends added, it also prevents you from gifting a profile effect which I think is counterintuitive as their Discord Nitro service too? If you don't see a response within a few days or so, probably submit another ticket and explain that you didn't get a response from the ticket you previously opened and then explain what happened with your account

I have actually a wierd question

Our discord serveur is now in crisis. The owner is actually very bad at moderation, in such a way that it seems important for all of us to forbid him the acces to moderation channels and to forbid him to ban any person

The owner agree with that but doesnt want to give the server to somebody else by fear to be banned. Nobody want to ban him but he has an irrationnal fear about that.

Also, not that we cannot just tell him to 'stop banning people' or 'stop going in servers'. He actually forget it...

My question is thus, what would be the best solution to :

• forbid him to be banned
  AND
• limit its powers (cannot ban other people, cannot go to some channels)

I think this is not exactly possible but what is the best compromises that could be achieved?

How can we ensure that they can't send our Discord invite to other people beyond making it a one-time use kinda thing? We're talking about a triple-digit amount of accepted applicants. Maybe I'm not following you here, but how does this prevent someone from just forwarding our invite link to someone else? They don't even have to create their own - they can simply forward the invite link they got from us. Like someone suggested above, we could add a limit of 1 use per invite, but that still doesn't ensure that the person we actually invited is the one that joins, as there are some pretty easy workarounds

Yeah indeed, and it's probably our best bet here, although that does entail having to manually generate each link and enter it in an individual e-mail for the recipient, which is also a lot of work. Additionally, they may just say "Oops, I signed up with the wrong account, can you please send a new invite?"

Hence, the best way I see this working is if a bot asks the person their e-mail address upon joining, then checks for it in the list we provided. If it's there, they get in and the e-mail is crossed out, and if not, they can't get verified. This doesn't seem to exist though?

Another solution outside of Discord would be to have a sheet with the accepted applicants. In front of that, you put a special code that you randomly generate, and associate it with each applicant. When they join, they have to write it so they can gain full access

🦥 why is discord taking away mah server members, my server had 1918 members yesterday after that [ 2:49 PM ] only 8 people took leave, but discord is showing way more and while I am writing this, it decreased another members it's now showing 1887

had another problem in the past was opposite of this, discord was adding members but this time it's taking away members
