We are running a multi-platform gaming discord and we've now grown to the point where the default priviliges are becoming an issue for our World of Warcraft section of the discord as the applicants can cause havoc on discord when denied.

we kinda need it to be upon joining. we have reaction roles for alot of the discord but now the world of warcraft team is getting issues with people joining for their guild and when they reject an application their members throw a tantrum on the server

so i just need to be able to limit what the applicants cant do until they get accepted and people who are just joining for all the other games and channels

but the other mods are complaining that they now have to manually promote people because everyone joining gets the default permissions and thus access to the reaction roles channel

if you tell it to use the mic of your headphones, they go into "hands free" mode, meaning quality is reduced in order for audio to be passed both ways.
The only proper fix for this is to not use the bluetooth headphones mic, but instead your onboard or a different mic of some kind

I've abandoned all hope that they'll regain some sanity and revert it. Because naturally they means they'll have to admit they made a mistake, in front of their stakeholders, and admit they spent all the time and money to make the new update for no reason whatsoever. They won't do that. Discord aren't a small indie style dev team anymore. This UI was done for stakeholders. They gave the users zero thought while making the new UI, and certainly aren't giving us any thought now.

Google play has seen reviews drop to 3.7 average over the last few days, continuing to tank lower and lower. Discord either admits defeat and reverts the UI (which, again, they won't do because that means admitting to their stakeholders that they wasted money) or a different company comes along and does it right.

TOS QUESTION: if a player makes the account below the age of 13 can they still be banned after they turn 13.

Hey, I'm having some issues with streaming on discord. If I try to stream a webpage (doesn't matter if firefox, edge, or whatever) there's no audio from the application, it only streams my discord voice channel audio for some reason. Hi! I was using the discord nitro free trial up until recently and forgot to cancel it (I was charged $100). I put in a refund request (within 5 days of the renewal) but it's been a little over 2 weeks and I've gotten no updates on my request. Does anyone know how forum channel tags are organized? It's not alphabetical, it's not based on the order I click them, but it's always a very specific order, re-ordering itself when I add specific tags. I'm trying to put my tags in a very specific order, the order I added them to the channel in, but they refuse to sit that way.

I've recorded a small video showing what I mean. It's absolutely driving me insane.

They always sit in the same order when the same tags are selected, if that makes sense, except for the 1.x tags. The 1.x tags sometimes can swap places when selected in a specific order, but only in specific scenarios, like when paired with the "Free" tag alone, or the "Free" and "Paid" tags. Removing the "Free" tag puts "1.20" first every time. Adding "Bukkit" or "Forge" tags does the same thing.

I've tried:

• Removing the emotes
• Changing the tag names to attempt alphabetical sorting
• Changing the order the emotes were uploaded
• Changing the names of emotes
• Removing half of the tags

Nothing changes the order they sit on the post.

Okay so my issue is a bit more complex. I am a witness to psychological and emotional abuse to a friend of mine on Discord.
For context: I met this girl a year ago on discord, we quickly became close and had an on and off relationship for about a year until now. A few days ago, I heard from her that "someone" wanted to talk to me. Honestly the whole situation seemed extremely off. Turns this someone is psychologically abusing and manipulating her into thinking I hated her or something. Most importantly, he is blocking her access to her Discord account. I felt threatened and now I cannot even contact her because he is occupying her account and taunting me every time I text.
I tried contacting discord support but to no avail other than manually reporting the text and I'm not sure if that would do any good. I am worried for her extremely as she reported to me that she wasn't feeling too good, both mentally and physically prior to all of this. What should I do?
