Hello, I tried to make an account using my email. I could not login and got a TOS violation for spamming. But it was a new account and I had not joined any discord servers, So I made this account but my email is registered to the disabled account and I cannot get it...

I also don't know why it got flagged for spamming, I just got an email, I was logged out as soon as I registered.

Check to see if there's a pending update for your phone. I'm not sure what kind of phone you have but there could have been another app which updated and is affecting Discord since your issue began today. I would also reinstall Spotify. If you're using iOS 17 I would check to see if there's any pending updates. Your issue is a matter of inconvenience and as long as you didn't touch anything then it's safe to assume it's out of your control. If push comes to shove and it's really bothering you that much you could roll back your entire update but that's honestly too much work. Discord bugs out all the time on both PC and iOS. A lot of new updates and things work 1 day and break the next. I've learned the less I mess with Discord the better it is.

I wouldn't stress about it. It sucks right now, yeah but you said it yourself - you didn't change anything. You could honestly be dealing with an unannounced issue they will hotfix later today or tomorrow. There's a ton of little annoyances that happen and they fix without alerting the masses there was an issue. Chances are you're going to continuously work at fixing things and when Discord manages to fix it on their end you will think the 10th uninstall was the charm lol.

Take it from my own experience. We can't fix Discord. Discord fixes Discord.

To elaborate more: I have my ear buds in and listening to something. I open discord and the audio pauses for a moment, gets a little quieter but still plays.

Also when I get in my car, connect to my phone, play music, then I open up discord and then my car treats the audio that I am listening to as a phone call and severely kills the audio quality. This goes away when I kill the discord app.

Hey, my discord account was recently hacked (september 22nd) And I been trying my hardest to get it back, The hacker changed the email associated with said account as well as the password, I immediately opened up a support ticket and explained my situation....

I recieved a response saying my message will be sent to the trust and safety team so I thought "Cool" I waited 10 days and heard nothing back so I decided to reply to the email asking for the status of my account, then they told me to make another ticket which i did last night. And i recieved another automated message from Clyde saying it will be forwarded to the trust and safety team and i have heard nothing since last night.

Does anyone have any tips on getting my account back? Its an 8 year old account from 2015 with 8 years of message history on it and still MONTHS of nitro on it. The hacker attempted to gift nitro on it as well.

ohh, i mean if you cant do custom emojis, the best next option is to actually name the colors accurately, not just "color 1, color 2, etc" and use emojis as examples, like teal could be 🗽, light pink could be 🌸, etc, thats what ive seen most people do

you dont need THAT many super similar colors either, oh and if you have some sort of info channel you could always make a message or image showing EXACTLY what each color looks like on discord and pin it

Heyo guys, I have a really strange audio problem with headphones on my mobile discord app. Normally, when I join VC, music, that I have in the background, sounds like from a barrel and it's kinda fine, since I don't talk in VCs with mobile app, but now the problem occurs EVERY time I open an app, despite the fact I'm not in VC. The reason this change exists is to prevent people from using Discord as their own media host. For example, let's imagine you have a website. You want to serve a 40 MB video from your website, but you don't want to pay hosting fees for those 40 MB. You could instead send the video to discord, copy the link to the original media file, and Link that on your website. Then instead of you paying for all the bandwidth, Discord pays for all the bandwidth, which Discord doesn't want to do anymore for obvious reasons.
