They joined the server. During onboarding they didn’t accept the rules. It allows them to still see the channels I chose as welcome channels that are available to everyone. But everything else is locked and I can’t find a way for them to backtrack and access the onboarding rules again in order to verify their account. I can force verification by going on their server account but otherwise I can’t find a way for them to go back into the onboarding rules and accept them

I wouldn’t be asking if it hadn’t happened to about 5 people so far

To me your issue sounds like either a whole bunch of people joined with a temporary invite or you have a bot that’s not configured correctly

this has to be something with the "kick member" permission, an external bot could be malfunctioning, or administrator abuse
it could also be a temporary invite

you should check the invites that the members are joining from and make sure they are not temporary, and you also have to make sure that administrator is being used properly

if all of those check out as fine you should contact official discord support

You can appeal anytime. Accounts get deleted if your ban appeal has been denied and it’s best only appeal once and don’t message them to many times as it can cause your ticket to be marked as “solved”
