if your boosts are bought separately then they're independant of your nitro subscription, but if it's the ones that come with nitro, then they'll be gone

you'll lose your streak if you didn't didn't boost again within 3 days

Discord themselves has been somewhat vague about this before, because they didn't want to lay a heavy hand down, while still preventing problems. The issue with invite perks/rewards/whatever is that it encourages spam. People want the thing, so they spam invite links around to try and got the thing, which is a problem. So, in general, it's not a great idea.

Just don't use the Discord overlay, it's trash. It will cause you more inconvenience than comfort

It's been working like ass since its implementation years ago, they never knew how to make it work properly without breaking the interaction with the game interfaces or the overlay itself, it's just rash, disable it.

Also, World Of Warcraft is one of the most sensitive games when it comes to overlays, even with the Xbox Game Bar it can break. I recommend playing it with all overlays disabled.

The overlay it's just trash, it doesn't work well. There's no fix at the moment (and I think it won't never be a fix) you'll have to do ALT + TAB everytime you want to talk

If you play with a guild, you could convice them to chat via in-game chat, it also has channels, categories... it's like another kind of Discord but built in

It didn't affect me either, it only affected me in games made with the Frostbite engine. Every PC is different, but generally speaking the Discord overlay causes conflicts with most games and for most people. It's generally best to avoid using it.

I was invited to this server a while ago, and I ended up joining, as to be polite-- I never really sent a message in the server the whole time I was there; one day, someone decided to post a video of a school-shooting, so another member reported the server, leading to everyone in it, including me, getting banned without any prior notice. I have sent Discord 2 FAQ requests for appeals, one to their customer-support, and another to a separate email that is also reserved for general issues-- both were met, about a day later, respectively, with an auto-generated response, practically, giving me a corporately-polite 'no'.
Do you think if I were to make a Twitter account and message them there they would respond?
I don't mean to mean, or sound like I'm trying to do a 'test-trial' here, but they're kind of lazy in this respect.

I wasn’t implying that at all, my example was more geared towards you having people you don’t necessarily want to block but want to be mindful of , so instead of having user notes where you have to remember to go to there profile you would just open a note you made on your device or a google doc where you have it organized by server name and then username and see that “oh yeah I need to remember to not talk to this person” ect

Anyways… like I said previously there’s definitely a limit people so hit it but it’s incredibly rare, just like hitting the limit of how many friends you can have. There’s definitely better alternatives to using notes though especially for moderation

Discord is sending welcome messages twice in my server, is there a reason for this? Its always extremely delayed too. The user will join and then like hours after another message will get sent.

If you were hacked and can provide the necessary info to prove account ownership and innocence, they will unban you. If you yourself were disabled then your chances are slim. As far as ‘no reason’ goes, the only time discord doesn’t provide a reason in the disabled account email is if the account has done something absolutely catastrophically bad

Make 1 ticket - wait for a reply. If the reply isn’t to your standard, reply to ‘that’ email. Making multiple tickets, sending direct emails to discord or otherwise spamming their system will get you blacklisted
