Officially, that's a client modification that's against ToS. Practically, it has virtually no impact and Discord, even if they were somehow made aware of it, would be unlikely to care. That said, it'll definitely get overwritten on updates and whatnot. (I have no idea where it's stored, or if it's even an individual file vs in a packed file that'd be much harder to swap out.) It's also discouraged because there are files people will give you to purportedly change things about your Discord, but actually just compromise your device or account instead.

Unfortunately the only way is that you have to go through support. This isn’t a support server and contact mods is just for moderation issues :/

There isn't a support server to my knowledge, and I highly doubt Discord will respond. Also if contacting a moderator is the only way to get my account back, it's worth a shot.

But the moderators can’t help. They’re not discord staff. So unfortunately you’ll just have to wait for a response. They’ll get back to you, they look at each and every ticket that comes in, that’s why it can take a hot minute

I found something that hinted the Notification Banners popping up means the message from Discord won't go to the notification centre.

Let's try deactivating that and see if it makes a difference

There's also another fragment that suggests ||"Focus Assist" needs to be off||

But try one thing at a time. Do the banner thing first

A third one I found suggests a ||clean install|| but that seemed to only work temporarily. Again - one thing at a time
