Could be the onboarding thing. On pc you can right click the server icon in the server list and click “show all channels”. On mobile, swipe -> to display the channel list and tap the server name, scroll down until you see the toggle for “show all channels”

The way you phrased that, probably not, but it really depends on what the "thing" is in the end. Like, can you charge to write a bot? Absolutely! On the other hand, can you sell as account? Absolutely not*!

*The ToS carves out a "without written approval" exception for selling an account, but I'm not aware of what circumstances would cause Discord to approve of such an action.

That gets really hairy. Discord's official stance has been pretty deliberately unclear about this from what I've seen. The big concern seems to be how it's handled. A lot of the time, this means spam, which is obviously not ok. Paid or not, dropping into channels or DMs just to be like "hey join this server" is gonna be an issue, because that's spam. But like, paying for seo or sponsored ads for a server would be ok.

If you enabled 2FA and do not have access to the authenticator or backup codes - you cannot get your account back and Discord will not help you.

If you did not enable 2FA and you were hacked and the hacker enabled it, you "might" be able to get your account restored by Discord. You'd have to prove account ownership though

Why does the "high" verification method where you have to wait 10 minutes work like half of the time? Can you elaborate on what you're trying to do? As far as I understand you're trying to set default channels through the onboarding and you can't figure it out?

I want to setup onbaording and I have selected 12 channels in which 6 channels everyone can talk and in that 6 channels 3 of them are forms and when I select all the 12 channels In onboarding it dosen't put the tick for the requirement where I have to select 5 channels where everyone can write

I saw the server with the everyone role and I can type in 5+ channels

but it just does not count for some reason

You can isolate which channels are the problem ones by selecting and deselecting them until the (x) goes away. Then figure out what's different about those channels vs. The ones it has no problems with.

You mentioned you were doing category permissions too so make sure all the channels in each category are synced up to their category and those everyone perms are right too

Unfortunately, you'll just have to wait it out. Your account got the "DM spammer" flag applied, which happens if Discord detects anomalous behavior and thinks you're spamming DMs. It'll go away on its own eventually, but they don't publish the metrics for how long that takes and what affects it. You might want to consider what behavior may have tripped that and avoid it in the future. (It might be something simple, but if you're sending a lot of DMs to a lot of people, that's definitely sus)

Unfortunately combating DM spam isn't an exact science, so sometimes abnormal use cases like this will get caught up in the attempts.

The fact that you have a brand new account almost certainly doesn't help. I believe account age is taken into account when determining the limits.

Ello, I was wondering if anyone could give some insight regarding vanity url claiming.

A server I've been watching for a while recently lost level 3 and lost the vanity url I want, although I'm unable to claim the vanity for some reason. It's been a few days so I'm unsure of why this is.

I reached out to discord support and they couldn't provide any help, saying it could be unavailable for abuse (which this is unlikely to be, and was recently used) or it is used by another server.
